NWA: Total Nonstop Action begins this week with a video package of the events leading up to tonight's main event of Raven vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The package profiles, and features commentary from, the challengers for Jeff Jarrett's title.
Open to the Asylum, and from the obligatory crowd shots, we're taken outside to Raven, and Julio Dinero, and Alexis Laree, "The Gathering". Raven talks about how he is going to win the NWA World Title tonight, then turns his attention to D'Lo Brown and orders Julio Dinero to take out D'Lo tonight. As Julio begins to say he will break D'Lo, Brown attacks Raven from behind, and then brawls with Julio Dinero into the building and up to ringside. D'Lo rolls Julio into the ring, Irish whip and a back elbow drop Dinero. Whip into the corner, back elbow fends off Brown. Julio sits upon the top rope but D'Lo runs the ropes and throws Dinero from the turnbuckle with a Hurricanrana. Alexis Laree dives from the top, but D'Lo catches her and goes for his Whirlybird Side Slam. Alexis is caught by Julio, and a jump spinning back kick grazes D'Lo, but sends him to the floor. D'Lo attempt to climb into the ring, but is knocked back to the floor by a running dropkick. Julio follows D'Lo to the floor. Brown fights back and rolls Julio back into the ring, but Alexis holds D'Lo, preventing him from getting through the ropes allowing Julio to hit a Swinging Neck Breaker in the ropes. Julio stomps D'Lo to the outside and attacks with a running suicide dive over the top rope. A chair is brought into play by Alexis Laree, who gives it to Julio Dinero. Dinero wraps the chair around D'Lo's head and sends him neck first into the ring post. Julio gets back into the ring, and catches D'Lo with a guillotine leg drop in the ropes as D'Lo was making his way back into the ring. Close two count, and D'Lo begins to fight back, but a wild right hand is countered with a wrap around leg trip from Dinero which gets two. Fisherman Buster from Dinero also gets two. D'Lo Brown begins to fight back again and attempts a tilt-a-whirl powerslam, but Dinero reverses it into a reverse DDT across his knee for two. Dinero takes D'Lo to the ropes and begins to choke Brown across the middle rope, then with the refs back turned, Alexis continues the attack. Running hip attack against the ropes, and Dinero takes D'Lo to the corner where he executes a Tornado Diamond Cutter called "The Dream Theater" but it only gets two. Julio takes D'Lo to the corner again and works him over before firing him across the ring into the opposite corner. Julio charges but D'Lo lifts Julio and drops him face first on the top turnbuckle. Both men fight to their feet, Dinero whips Brown into the ropes. D'Lo ducks the clothesline and answers back with a flying forearm attack. Series of repeated rights puts Dinero down, whip into the ropes and Dinero counters the backdrop attempt with an attempt at a Hangman's Neck Breaker, which is countered by D'Lo into a vertical lift dropped down into a Stunner, followed immediately by a high back heel kick that gets two. Alexis back on top nails the flying Tornado DDT which only gets two for Julio. Julio attempts to whip D'Lo into the ropes, but it is reversed straight into the Sky High Powerbomb for the win.
D'Lo Brown wins.
Don West and Mike Tenay welcome us to the show and run down the card of announced matches. Asylum Alliance Finals between America's Most Wanted vs. David Young and Tracy. A Hard 10 Tournament match between The Sandman and a mystery former WCW Hardcore Champion. A handicap match pitting Kid Kash against Erik Watts, Goldylocks, and Trinity. Chris Sabin will defend his X-Division Title against an opponent of his choosing. Hype for the World Title match, and speculation as to Russo's involvement sends us into a video history of Vince Russo in NWATNA.
Back to the ring where Mike Tenay brings out Glen Gilberti to ask him if he had an answer as to why Russo hit him with a bat, costing him his match with Jeff Jarrett last week. Glen says that Mike would have a better chance of knowing the answer to that question and proposes that they try and get inside the mind of Vince Russo. Glen gives Russo the credit for the Montreal Screw Job, Judy Bagwell as Tag Champ, Viagra on a Pole, and David Arquette. Glen says that all that time, he had to play along and pretend they were good ideas. Glen determines that Vince Russo must have been insecure, jealous, or embarrassed that Glen was able to pick up the ball and lead SEX just as well as Vince did. The interview quickly breaks down as Glen goes from deductive reasoning to straight up trash talking. Vince Russo charges the ring and repeatedly strikes Glen with the baseball bat, and talks some trash of his own. The Harris Brothers come out and pull Vince off of Glen as Triple X drag Glen from the ring.
Mike Tenay and Don West try to make sense of what happened, and regroup as they send it the NWATNA's brand new backstage interviewer, Scott Hudson with Chris Sabin. Chris Sabin announces that he has picked Shark Boy as his opponent tonight.
The TNA girls shake it for us.
This takes us straight to "Right foot red", New Jack vs. Shark Boy in a game of Twister! Shark Boy loses by forfeit as he has to break to the ring for the match.
Chris Sabin makes his entrance from the SEX Locker Room, followed by Shark from TNA. A quick exchange of wrist locks and head locks starts the match before Sabin throws Shark Boy into the ropes, hits the mat, leapfrog, back elbow countered by Shark Boy into an Irish whip, hits the mat, leapfrog, and puts Sabin down for two with a standing hip toss. Kick to the gut from Sabin followed by a series of forearm strikes. Shark Boy shoves Sabin away and the two face off before Sabin slaps Shark Boy, who fires back with a standing dropkick, and takes it to Chris Sabin with right hands. Whip reversed by Sabin, Shark Boy floats over a back drop attempt and takes Sabin down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Fist Drop by Shark Boy, and a clothesline takes Sabin over the top to the floor. Shark Boy jumps to the apron and hits a springboard back drop kick to the floor. Chris Sabin reverses a whip, sending Shark Boy back first into the guardrail, but Shark Boy sends Sabin into the crowd with a back body drop. Shark Boy tries to bring Sabin back with a Vertical Suplex, but Sabin lands on his feet and slams Shark Boy down with a German Suplex on the floor and rolls Shark Boy back into the ring. Top rope splash from Sabin misses and Shark Boy takes the offensive, but his Irish whip is reversed by Sabin, Shark Boy climbs atop Sabin's shoulders, spins around, and reverses the wheel barrow into a bulldog for two. Irish whip countered by Sabin, but Sabin maintains the momentum, stunning Sabin with a face buster to the knees. Chris Sabin stumbles back into the corner and Shark Boy pursues, mounting the corner and bringing in a series of punches, and a bite to the forehead for good measure. Sabin stumbles out of the corner, allowing Shark Boy to connect with a Missile Dropkick from the top for a two count.
We are informed at this point that Glen Gilberti has been taken to the hospital as a result of the attack by Vince Russo.
Irish whip by Shark Boy is reversed by Chris Sabin, clothesline from Sabin is blocked by an effort at a backslide, which is reversed by Sabin into a Neck Wrench drop across the knee for a belated two count. Chris Sabin tries for his version of the Fisherman's Buster, but Shark Boy fights out of it and turns it into a Hangman's Neck Breaker for two. Shark Boy signals for a high risk maneuver and climbs to the middle turnbuckle, but the diving Hurricanrana is blocked by Sabin who powers Shark Boy over into a Whirlybird side slam across the knee, and that only gets two. Sabin beats Shark Boy into the corner, then shoots him across the ring, Shark Boy gets his boot up at the last second and brings Sabin in for the Dead Sea Drop, a flipping stunner out of the corner. Shark Boy covers, but Sabin gets his foot on the rope at two. Shark Boy goes back for another attempt at the DSD but Chris Sabin fights away and dazes Shark Boy with a high drop kick, allowing Sabin to grab Shark Boy and deliver the "Future Shock" Fisherman's Buster DDT for the win
Winner and still X-Division Champion, Chris Sabin.
After the match, Chris Sabin take the microphone and declares he will remove Shark Boy's mask, but before he can, New Jack makes the save beating Sabin down with a back elbow and a clothesline off the ropes. Mike Sanders then runs in and attacks New Jack, allowing Sabin and Sanders to effectively double team New Jack before finally being chased off by officials and security.
The TNA Dancers dance as Mike Tenay and Don West send it back to Scott Hudson with Konnan and Ron "The Truth" Killings. Konnan and Killings make their threats to the Harris Brothers for the next match.
Heavy D and Ron Killings start the match. Heavy D overpowers The Truth in the Collar and Elbow tie ups, pushing him to the mat, or driving him into the corner. Killings calls Heavy D on, Heavy D charges but is taken down with a drop toe old. The Truth fights Heavy D into the corner. Irish whip is reversed by Heavy D, Ron Killings lands on his feet after a hip toss, ducks the clothesline, and levels Heavy Don Harris with a flying forearm that gets two. Drop Toe Hold takes Heavy D down again, arm wrench by The Truth and the tag is made to Konnan who works over the arm for only a moment before he is powered into a side slam from Heavy D. The tag is made to Big Ron who beats Konnan down before an Irish whip is reversed by K-Dawg, who hits the mat, then hip tosses Big Ron to his back. Big Ron gets up and falls back into the corner. Konnan rolls into the attack, but is shoved off by Big Ron. Clothesline is caught by Konnan who uses the momentum to wrap around and hit the reverse DDT. Tag is made back into Ron Killings and a brief double team gives The Truth the advantage. Irish whip is reversed by Big Ron, clothesline ducked by The Truth, but Heavy D trips up Killings before he can do an attack of his own and is pulled to the floor and worked over while Big Ron attacks Konnan on the apron.
It is revealed that Desire was the one to take Glen to the hospital
Heavy D rolls Killings back into the ring, and Big Ron executes the snap Suplex take over. Repeated shoulder blocks in the corner subdue Ron Killings, and a series of corner to corner whips and charging clotheslines takes The Truth down for a two. Tag is made to Heavy D, and Big Ron takes The Truth to the ropes, draping his throat across the top rope, and while Heavy D holds him there from the outside, Big Ron gives him a kick flush to the head. Heavy D tries to follow up the attack, but The Truth fights back from his knees. The Truth fires in with his right hand and a kick to the midsection, but is taken back down to the mat with a big boot coming off the ropes. Big Ron is tagged back in and promptly puts The Truth in a rear chinlock, followed by a chokeslam, and then a camel clutch. Standing front face lock from Big Ron neutralizes The Truth in the center of the ring, but The Truth is able to power Big Ron close enough to Konnan to make a tag. Heavy D sees this and jumps in the ring to distract the ref, making the tag to Konnan negligible. Double team by the Harris Brothers in their corner, Heavy D tagged in and takes The Truth back to the ropes whips him across the ring, telegraphs the back body drop and is dropped himself by a jumping scissor ax kick to the back of the head. The Truth makes the tag to Konnan who takes it to Big Ron with the Rolling Thunder Clothesline, then drops Heavy D with a face jam. Killings is back in it and battles Big Ron in the corner, Irish whip to the other corner is reversed, Killings kips up over a charging Big Ron and back flips away, split duck of the clothesline, allowing Konnan to drop Big Ron with the Rolling Thunder Clothesline yet again. Konnan keeps Heavy D from getting in the ring by brawling with him on the floor, while Big Ron drops Ron Killings off the ropes in the center of the ring with a pancake drop. Heavy D beats Konnan down on the outside as Big Ron sets Ron Killings up for a powerbomb, but The Truth drops out of it on his feet, and ducks down just in time for BG James to crack a chair over Big Ron's head, allowing The Truth to get the pinfall victory.
Ron Killings and Konnan win the match and we are taken straight into an interview before the show between Mike Tenay and NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett doesn't mince words when he says that tonight's battle against Raven and AJ Styles will be the biggest challenge to him as champion during his seven month reign. Jarrett says that this match has been made as a punishment to him due to his recent out of ring actions. Mike Tenay brings up the connection between Jarrett and Russo's recent actions, before Tenay can actually ask the question, Jarrett stops him and acknowledges the past friendship he and Russo shared, but denies having any knowledge that Russo would do what he did last week to Glen Gilberti, and ends by saying he now has no relationship with Vince Russo.
The TNA girls dance again as we take it once again back to Scott Hudson with Erik Watts, Goldylocks, and Trinity. Erik Watts is giddy about the match, and says he isn't going to put Goldylocks in harms way because he is Mr. Ratings, and the Asylum is Watts' World. Trinity is denies that she has been abused by Kid Kash, and that she can take anything he has. Just at that moment, a huge man wearing a mangler mask attacks Erik Watts from the shadows and beats him down. Goldylocks and Trinity check on him when Kid Kash shows up, "shocked" that something happened to Erik Watts before the match, but tells Trinity and Goldylocks that they still have one.
Kid Kash enters first, then Trinity practically has to drag Goldylocks, who seems more concerned about being backstage with Erik, out to the ring. Kash and Trinity start the match, with Kash taking the shortcut to the eyes before whipping Trinity across the ring. Trinity ducks the clothesline and gets a two count out of a sunset flip. Trinity follows it up with a series of punches, but an Irish whip is reversed by Kid Kash. Trinity ducks another clothesline, and takes Kid Kash over with a running deep arm drag. Trinity follows up with another series of right hands and a whip into the ropes, as Goldylocks leads the crowd in cheers for Trinity, Kid Kash stops the momentum by bringing down the forearm over Trinity's back, exposed by a back body drop. Kid Kash on the offensive with a Side Russian Leg Sweep, rolls all the way through and brings Trinity up for a snap swinging neck breaker. Kid Kash banters with Goldylocks before bringing Trinity to her feet by her hair. Trinity fights away, but Kash reverses a whip into the ropes, making Trinity run right into a kick into the midsection. Kid Kash holds Trinity in a Vertical Suplex before using the ropes to slingshot Trinity's body up, over, and down to the mat. Kash covers but pulls Trinity up at two and instead taunts Goldylocks on the apron and Trinity while she gets to her feet. Trinity takes it to Kid Kash, but another Irish whip is reversed, and this time Trinity runs straight into the Iron Claw. Goldylocks gets Kash's attention, and after brief trash talk, Kash shoves Goldylocks down on the apron before going back to the Iron Claw on Trinity. Goldylocks gets in the ring and jumps onto the back of Kid Kash, but is fought off and receives an Iron Claw of her own, but Goldylocks counters it with a low blow, allowing Trinity to attack with a double spring board arm drag out of the corner. Trinity knocks Kash to the mat with a spinning jump kick but only gets a two count. Trinity whips Kash into the corner, but Kash jumps up onto the second turnbuckle, and stops Trinity from charging with a boot. Kash stands upon the top turnbuckle and Trinity quickly attacks with repeated kicks to the head. Trinity tries to Superplex Kid Kash from the top rope, but Kash powers her down, setting her up for a top rope powerbomb, but right in mid move Trinity pulls back with the Hurricanrana, throwing Kash tail bone first to the mat. Trinity gets to her feet and the same huge man who attacked Watts gets in the ring and hits a massive twisting side slam on Trinity, allowing Kid Kash to get the pin with a simple boot on the chest.
Kid Kash wins as we see the replay of the tremendous Hurricanrana from the top by Trinity, and the run in attack from the masked mangler which gave Kid Kash the win.
Back to Scott Hudson with The Sandman's Hard 10 opponent, former WCW Hardcore Champion, Devon Storm. Devon Storm calls the Hard 10 tournament Pro Wrestling's latest attempt to put some rhyme and reason, and make something mathematical or scientific about hardcore wrestling. Devon says he took a lot of factors into account in preparing for this match, including the temperature at the Asylum, and The Sandman's body mass in Kilograms, not pounds. And of course, his blood alcohol content.
Mike Tenay begins to run over the Hard 10 rules before he cuts to the back where Bill Behrens, with two hulking security guards, is informing D'Lo Brown that the night's main event is too important for him to possibly run in, so he will have to be removed from the building. D'Lo refers to the two guards as being the TNA version of Patterson and Brisco, and says that they better be packing if they're going to remove him tonight.
Mike Tenay returns to the Hard 10 rules, and gives us the updated brackets. Next week Mike Sanders will face New Jack, and in two weeks Sonny Siaki will face the winner of this next match.
Devon Storm enters the ring and scouts the weapons brought by the fans at ringside. The Sandman enters with his beer swilling entrance, but is cut off by Devon Storm. Devon rolls Sandman into the ring and head butts him into the corner. Devon beats Sandman into the corner before whipping him into the ropes and connecting with a flying twisting elbow attack. Devon Storm bails to the floor in search of a weapon and picks a Kendo Stick from a fan at ringside. Sandman keeps Devon Storm from entering the ring, causing Devon to drop the Kendo Stick at Sandman's feet. Devon Storm is up on the apron, and stops an attacking Sandman with a shoulder block through the ropes. The two fight over the Kendo Stick, and Devon monkey flips Sandman over, allowing him to gain control of the stick and striking The Sandman with it once in the midsection, and twice to the head
Devon Storm 3-0.
Sandman back drops Devon Storm and gets the stick, cracking Devon right between the eyes, across the neck, then twice across the chest, sending Devon over the top to the outside.
The Sandman 4-3.
At this point, Sonny Siaki comes down to ringside, wheeling a shopping cart full of weapons. Sandman brawls with Devon Storm on the floor before going over and checking on Siaki, allowing Devon Storm to get to the apron. The Sandman attacks Storm, but Storm ducks out of the way and pulls The Sandman's feet out from under him, allowing Devon Storm to slingshot himself over the ropes with a bodysplash, followed by a second rope lionsault to wrestle The Sandman down. Devon Storm grabs the Kendo Stick again, and The Sandman bails to the floor. On the floor, The Sandman grabs a chair, but Devon slides between the middle and bottom rope, kicking the chair right into Sandman's face, evening the contest at four up. Devon Storm sets up the chair, and sits Sandman in it on the floor. Devon Storm gets back in the ring and slingshot body blocks Sandman in the chair, but since he didn't hit him with the weapon, it did not count for a point, so Devon picks up the chair and slams it across Sandman's back.
Devon Storm 5-4
Devon Storm fishes a ladder out of fans and brings it into the ring and with a trash can lid, hits Sandman over the head. Devon Storm sets the ladder up in the corner, and flips the Sandman back first into it. Devon goes to the well again, this time Sandman reverses and hits a snap Suplex straight into the ladder giving him a point. The Sandman puts the ladder in the middle of the ring and drops Devon Storm across the ladder bulldog style, giving him another point and giving each man six points. The Sandman scales the corner and goes for the Senton splash, but Devon Storm moves and The Sandman gets nothing but the ladder. During these last few moment, Sonny Siaki has set up a table suspended from the apron to the guardrail. Devon Storm picks up the trash can lid and hits The Sandman once with it, he then calls for a chair from Sonny Siaki which is tossed to him. With the chair against The Sandman's back, Devon Storm executes a Northern Lights Suplex. No point. Devon Storm throws The Sandman out to the floor, allowing Siaki to get in some cheap shots as Devon stands up the ladder in the ring. The Sandman sends Siaki against the guardrail, followed by Devon Storm. The Sandman then sets Devon Storm on the table, and quickly climbs the ladder, winning the match with a flipping Senton from off the ladder through Devon Storm, through a table.
The Sandman wins 11-4, and gets back in the ring to celebrate, but is attacked by Sonny Siaki, who then opens a beer and spits it down on the face of The Sandman.

The finals for the Asylum Alliance tournament is next and Scott Hudson is backstage with Tracy, who will make history as the first woman to potentially challenge for the tag team championships. Talk turns to David Young and his differences with Tracy. Tracy says all differences are aside, or else David Young will never be able to pleasure his girlfriend Desire again. Before she leaves, Tracy asks if Scott knows anything about pleasuring a woman, Scott begs off the question, and Tracy takes it as a no before walking off. Scott, obviously confused, sends it back to "Tony and Bobby"
For the next match, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Triple X, Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels make their way to ringside to watch the match. America's Most Wanted enter, followed by Tracy, and then David Young from SEX. Christopher Daniels is on guest commentary, and sends a shout out to Low Ki. James Storm hits the ropes, and David Young hits the mat. David Young goes for a hip toss, but it's countered by James Storm. James Storm and David Young exchange attempts at a hip toss before finally David Young is forced over the top to the apron. Superkick from James Storm drops David Young to the floor. Tracy tries to get involved so James Storm throws her out of the ring as well for David Young to catch her. With Young and Tracy on the floor, America's Most Wanted set up for a version of poetry in motion with Chris Harris down to provide the launching step for James Storm. However, still showing signs of mistrust, James Storm mis-steps, but quickly recovers, and slingshots himself up and over to the floor on top of David Young who pushed Tracy out of the way. James Storm rolls David Young into the ring for Chris Harris, who lifts him up into a Hang time suplex. As Harris parades around the ring, Tracy is on the apron flashing her assets in Harris' direction. Harris notices, but drops David Young back first to the mat before taking note. Christopher Daniels is quick to note that there was a loss of concentration. Tag is made to James Storm who scales the turnbuckle. Chris Harris lifts David Young up into position as James Storm hits the Missile Dropkick from the top. Chris Harris immediately follows that with a catapult back into the corner, and the two simultaneous hyper-extend David Young's hamstrings, and almost attack Tracy on the apron.
Quickly, AMW turn their attention back to David Young and Tracy tries to take advantage but is given a double hip toss and throwing straight into David Young. Tracy slides out of the ring as James Storm sets Young up for a powerbomb, but then Elix Skipper, flipping over the ropes, takes James down with a powerful clothesline behind the official's back. David Young takes advantage of the help by power whipping James Storm into the corner. Tag is made to Tracy who attacks with ineffective offense. James Storm grabs Tracy by the hair, but she is saved by David Young. David beats Storm down as Tracy climbs to the top and leaps off, hitting James Storm with the Pie in the Sky, knocking him to the mat. James Storm crawls into the corner, and sets himself up for a Bronco Buster, but pulls himself straight up out of the way, into position for a top rope move. Out of the camera's view, David Young shakes the ropes, causing James Storm to lose his balance up top. Tracy makes the tag to David Young who delivers a top rope Superplex on James Storm. Both men struggle to their feet. David ducks a crescent kick, James jumps over a legsweep, and David spins around just in time to take a kick right to the head. Chris Harris is tagged in and drops David Young with powerful left hands. David Young is set to receive a DDT, and Tracy's interference allows David Young to maneuver out. Chris Harris ducks the clothesline and this time delivers the DDT. Chris Harris takes David into the corner and stomps him down, the turns in time to give Tracy a drop toe hold head first into David's open groin area. James Storm then takes Tracy over his knee for a spanking, but David Young is quick to stop it. David hammers in on James, but then turns right into a running clothesline from Harris. America's Most Wanted set David Young up for the Death Sentence. Chris Harris is cut off from going up top by Elix Skipper and Chris Daniels, but fights them both off. On the top rope, Chris Harris looks to David Young, then to Triple X on the outside, and instead dives to the floor, taking Triple X out. This allows Tracy to hit James Storm with a low blow, bringing David Young in to position for a two count.
David Young's whip is reversed by James Storm, David Young ducks the clothesline, goes for a spring board assault off the ropes but is met with a spear from Chris Harris that gets the win. America's Most Wanted will meet Triple X next week for the NWA Tag Team Titles.
James Storm takes the microphone and demands that Triple X get in the ring so they can settle it right now. Chris and Elix keep each other from taking the challenge as security comes in to make sure the two teams are kept separate until the Anniversary show next week. Back in the ring, Tracy and David Young are getting into a shoving match, when from behind Nurse Veronica enters the ring and attacks David Young with a chair.
Scott Hudson is in the back now with World Title #1 Contender AJ Styles. AJ Styles dates the day he last fought Jarrett, February 19th, and how it's now Raven and Jarrett he'll be fighting. AJ Styles goes on an intense ramble, as if talking to himself, about what he's seen growing up in wrestling, and what he has learned from D'Lo Brown. Vince Russo comes to ringside with a guitar and enters the ring, he measures AJ Styles but gives Jarrett the Acoustic Equalizer, allowing AJ Styles to hit the Styles Clash, and thus get the pin.
AJ Styles is the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Vince Russo celebrates in the ring with AJ Styles and the championship belt before the two bail out of the ring toward the SEX Locker Room.
After the match, Jeff Jarrett takes the microphone and requests his rematch next week. AJ Styles invokes his thirty days, and says he'll do it when he's ready. Jarrett then backs off challenging for the belt, and instead challenges AJ to a tag match where AJ will be allowed to find whoever he wants, and Jeff Jarrett will find The Man Called Sting. AJ Styles accepts the challenge, and we have a main event next week.
