Rick Steiner
   By: Rob Morris on 01/07/04
The first WrestleZone Radio of 2004 (January 6th show) with Matt Boone and Ryan Clark is now online.

The two start the show off discussing the havoc that preluded it. Lots of problems, guests rescheduling, among other hazzords. However, the two announce a double guest show with Rick Steiner and Big Vito!

From there, Matt and Ryan jump into your backstage WWE news and notes of the week.

Then, Rick Steiner was scheduled to come on, but didn't answer his phone. So, Matt and Ryan moved Big Vito to hour one to discuss this past Monday night's RAW in-depth. The former WCW Hardcore and Tag-Team champion broke Monday's RAW down with the hosts for a solid 20 minutes.

After that came the hourly break. Matt and Ryan came back with a surprise - "The Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner came through, and is our next guest on this week's show!

Rick Steiner talked about his NWA/WCW days, his WWF run with Scott Steiner in the early 90s that ended in Scott threatening Vince to get out of their jobs during the steroid trial. He also discussed rumors of his stiff working towards the end of WCW, in particular Konnan, who mentioned it on WrestleZone Radio in 2003. Rick detailed why he worked hard with others towards the end, and talked about some who got caught in his line of fire. Rick talks about Scott Steiner's current WWE run, sheds some light on the possibility of his friend Goldberg re-signing with WWE after WrestleMania and his current frustration with management, among many other very interesting topics in this thrilling 40 minute interview!
