A video package recaps the Jeff Jarrett, Eric Watts, AJ Styles and Don Callis situation.
A limousine is outside and an unknown man gets out with Goldylocks and Watts. Brian Urlacher then climbs out to a pop from fans outside the Asylum.
Show open runs. Tenay welcomes us and we're shown the handcuffs for the Callis/Watts match laying on the ringside table.
Abyss' music starts and he comes to the ring. Cut to D'Lo in the back. He reminds Abyss that when someone puts their hands on his friend AJ Styles, he takes matters into his own hands.
D'Lo starts out with a fury of punches. Abyss goes for a chockeslam but D'Lo blocks it. Brown clotheslines Abyss over the top and slams his head into the steps. Tenay informs us that Styles is out with a dislocated shoulder and stinger. As Brown searches for a table under the ring, Abyss picks him up from over the top rope. D'Lo battles back and lands a boot to the face before Abyss hits a press slam. Abyss then throws Brown out to the floor and returns the head slam into the steps.
Back in the ring, Abyss whips Brown into the corner and follows with a clothesline. Abyss chops Brown but is reversed. Brown whips Abyss off the ropes, reversal and Abyss connects with a boot to the face. Abyss goes outside to set up the table Brown pulled out earlier. As Abyss gets back in the ring, Brown hits an enzugiri. Both men are down. As they come back up, Brown hits a side kick and comes off the top rope with a clothesline. Brown goes for a slam but turns it into a sidewalk slam. Abyss catches Brown in the sit-down torture rack. Brown kicks out. Brown hits a modified powerbomb on the big man! Climbs up to the top rope but Abyss shoves referee Rudy Charles into the ropes, knocking Brown off. Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam for the win.
WINNER: ABYSS
Post match - Abyss climbs out of the ring and, while looking at the table, is caught by D'Lo on the ropes. Abyss pulls D'Lo over the top rope to the floor and slams him through the table. Referee Rudy Charles yells at him to get out of the ringside area when El Leon comes down, throws Abyss into the ring and clotheslines Abyss over the top.
Scott Hudson is in the locker room with Jarrett, Gilbertti, Young, Callis, Kash and the Red Shirts. Jarrett is listening via conference phone to "Tom T." The lawyer tells the group if Urlacher doesn't leave the building for Watt's match, Watts will automatically lose his job.
Back to ringside, the TNA trainer is loading D'Lo, who is bleeding from the mouth, onto a stretcher.
A video recap of Chris Sabin versus Michael Shane leads into the X Division Championship match.
Michael Shane comes out to the ring, accompanied by Shane Douglas and Tracy. A clip is shown of Elix Skipper dropping through the chairs with Tracy on his back last week. Tracy is now sporting a cast.
Chris Sabin is out next. Tenay reviews their individual stats and the match is on. Douglas joins commentary. Headlock takeovers start the match with Michael getting the better of Sabin early on. Sabin unleashes a frakensteiner, sending Shane out of the ring, then baseball slides out of the ring after him. They fight outside until Sabin tosses Shane back in. Sabin hits an enzugiri and tosses Shane back over the top rope to Tracy. Shane whispers sweet nothings to her and she gets up on the ring apron in an attempt to distract Sabin, but Sabin catches on and stays on Shane until Tracy pulls his legs out from under him on the apron. Tenay mentions Douglas' past "fondness" of the NWA. Shane throws Sabin into the guardrail outside and then slams his head into the announcer's desk in front of Douglas. Back into the ring and an exchange of chops. Shane takes a back bodydrop but then reverses a whip into the corner. He charges Sabin but takes a boot to the face. Shane knocks Sabin off the top rope and then dropkicks his face while Sabin hangs from the top turnbuckle.
Shanes slaps on a rear chinlock. Sabin fights out but takes a belly to belly suplex. Sabin gets to his feet and takes over on Shane, sending him out of the ring again with a missle dropkick. Shane's over the guradrail and Sabin joins him, slamming his head into a chair. Sabin goes back into the ring long enough to fly over the rail with a springboard bodyblock. Back in the ring, Sabin gives Shane a backbreaker/face plant but Tracy puts Shane's foot on the rope. Shane goes for a roll-up, then a DDT. He hits the superkick to knock Sabin out of the ring. Throwing him back in, Shane goes for a second superkick but Sabin ducks out and rolls over Shane for the pin.
WINNER: CHRIS SABIN
Douglas storms into the ring and berates Michael Shane. Tracy looks torn over the dissention. Douglas calms down and holds up his fingers to signify the continuing of the Franchise and Shane joins him.
A recap of Don Callis introducing Johnny Fairplay last week.
Mike Tenay conducts a pre-taped sit down interview with Fairplay. Fairplay is in a neckbrace, seemingly attempting a remake of Andy Kaufman's Memphis run. Fairplay interrupts to figure out which of his cell phones is ringing. He trash talks some of his castmates from Survivor. Tenay brings up being a former assistant of Roddy Piper, but Fairplay doesn't even want to hear his name. Lollipop brings Fairplay a beverage then he waves her off. Fairplay surmises that his appearance will increase buyrates over the coming weeks. He introduces his new segment, "Playing Fair with Fairplay," will be debuting soon.
Sandman video is shown. He talks about how the past few weeks his partners don't show up but The Gathering continues to beat up on him alone anyway.
Back to the ring. Father James Mitchell brings CM Punk and Julio Dinero to the ring.
Sandman is introduced in the crowd and does his traditional entrance. Tenay and West guess who his partner will be and wonder where Raven is. Sandman points with the Singapore cane to the entrance and Jeremy Borash introduces Mikey Whipwreck, but he doesn't come out. Instead he climbs in the ring from elsewhere and shakes hands with Punk before thumbing Dinero in the eye. Whipwreck and Sandman crack beers together in the ring. As they guzzle, Punk and Dinero sneak up on them but are caught by the former ECW icons. Whipwrech takes over on Punk in the ring while Sandman is in the corner with Dinero.
Sandman lands a hurricanranna on Punk. Whipwreck into the rail after missing a jump off the ringpost and he is out. Punk and Dinero take Sandman's cane and begin beating him with it. Sandman catches both in a combination DDT/leg sweep. Mitchell takes the cane away from Sandman but gives it back to his Gathering who use it to get the pin on Sandman
WINNERS: CM Punk and Julio Dinero
After the match, Mitchell and Punk hold down Sandman while Dinero continues to attack with the cane. The lights go out and a video comes on saying, "I'm watching you, Devil," while video of a bloody and collapsing Mitchell plays.
Hudson is in the back asking Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger which one signed a contract with Jarrett. An argument ensues between the partners, but they figure that Gilbetti is feeding false information to Jarrett.
Callis is in the ring, along with the Red Shirts and Fairplay, and calls out Brian Urlacher. Urlacher comes to the ring and leaps over the top rope. Callis says he knows Urlacher is a dumb football player so he reminds him what their lawyer said, if Urlacher interferes in his match with Watts, Watts loses. Callis says they can things the easy way or the hard way, so he may as well tuck his tail between his legs and run away. The Red Shirts attack Urlacher and whip him into the ropes. Urlacher returns with a double-clothesline. He then focuses on Johnny Fairplay, who he throws out over the top rope.
Scott Hudson is in the back, interviewing Jerry Lynn and his Team TNA of Sabin, Skipper and Dutt. He says they are going out to the ring to show the AA Team what they're made of. Hudson asks what Lynn has handcuffs for. He explains that he will be handcuffed to Kid Kash to make sure Callis is gone from TNA like he was for five months.
Shark Boy, Chad Collyer, Matt Stryker and Eric Young come to the ring. Kid Kash climbs in, attempting to get some contracts signed, but Jeremy Borash grabs the mic and says Watts is winning and to get the hell out of the ring. The crowd pops and all four men in the ring back Borash up. Kash then confronts Tiny the Timekeeper until Sara Lee attacks him with her broom. Don Harris comes out with Chris Vaughn to break it up, giving Kash a chance to run to the back.
Juventud Guerrara, Hector Garza, Abismo Negro and Mr. Aguilla (Essa Rios) - AAA's Team for the America's Cup - come the the ring. The America's X Cup is displayed at the announcer's desk. Huge USA chant breaks out.
Lynn, Sabin, Skipper and Dutt are shown on the ramp, watching the match.
The match was constant back and forth with frequent tags. There was less flying than I expected to see, with both sides preferring more of a mat-based match. They do the mandatory suicide dives, topes and moonsaults to the outside. Aguilla hits a shooting star press for the pin on Young. A good warm up for February 15th.

Jerry Lynn and team come down to the ring. The two teams face off, then exchange handshakes.
Scott Hudson is with Trinity and asks about her relationship with Sonny Siaki. Trinity says Siaki is brain dead, just like Hudson. Trinity says she wants to be with someone who's going someplace, like Jeff Jarrett. Siaki comes in and grabs her but Kash comes in for the save. Kash attacks Siaki and handcuffs him to the lockers. Kash tries to get with Trinity but she walks off.
Highlights are shown from Xplosion of 3 Live Cru in a pre-taped video package challenging the Red Shirts and Kash telling the Red Shirts how they'll be joining Callis outside if they lose against the 3LK.
3LK versus the Red Shirts for the NWA World Tag Team Championship is next. BG James starts out with Northcutt. Northcutt backs James into the corner and James comes out punching. Northcutt goes for the boot but James ducks it. James tags out to Truth and they double-team with a hiptoss and elbow drop. Truth locks on an armbar. Northcutt trips Killings with a legsweep and tags in Legend. Truth takes Legend down with an armdrag into an armbar. Legend attempts a whip into the ropes, but Killings gives a kick to the gut and follows up with an ax kick to the back of the neck. Legend comes back and works Truth down into the corner. Legend with a legdrop off the top for a two-count. Northcutt back in with a powerbomb. Legend and Northcutt double-team Killings. Legend goes for a moonsault but Killings moves. Killings tags in James, Legend tags in Northcutt. James takes over on both. Legend and Northcutt prepare to deliver a spike piledriver, but Killings springboards off James in the corner onto both. Killings and Legend brawl to the outside.
Michael Shane and Tracy are up on the apron, but Konnan drags Shane edown. Shane Douglas comes into the ring with a chain and knocks James out. Northcutt rolls him over for the pin and the titles.
WINNERS: Red Shirts, NEW NWA World Tag Team Champions
In the back, Sandman is on the phone. Scott Hudson asks him if he's talking to Raven. Sandman says, "Hell, no!" He says Balls Mahoney couldn't do it and Mikey Whipwreck couldn't do it. Next week, he's bringing in Terry Funk!
Mike Tenay is in the ring and introduces the ICP. They shake hands with Tenday and Violent J says that whenever they are on the road or in the studio, they make it a point to get back to the hotel in time to watch TNA. He started talking about Jarrett and Gilbertti and David Young came out to interrupt. Gilbertti said that, because he and Callis were fans of ICP, all they had to do was apologize for throwing a beverage at Jarrett last week and they can be a part of them. ICP errupts into a fight with the two and sends them to the back to a huge pop from the crowd.
ICP interrupts the Tenay/West shill and challenge Gilbertti and Young for next week.
Scott Hudson is in the back with Erik Watts who talks about his life in the wrestling business and guarateed that he would remain the DOA and Jarrett would be defending his title next week.
A video recap of the Watts and Callis feud is shown. I don’t know if it was a typo, but Watts’ name was spelled “Erick” in the graphic.
Callis is out first, decked in one of his old ring robes, the type wrestlers used to where to the ring (ala Flair, Taylor, etc.). He looked to be in very good condition, though it’s been some time since his full-time wrestling days. Team TNA wrestlers cames out handcuffed to Team Jarrett troups. Jeff Jarrett comes out and immediately handcuffs Mike Tenay to the guardrail. In turn, Watts handcuffed Jarrett to El Leon. And the match is on.
Callis goes on offense with a series of punches. Watts responds with a backdrop and takes Callis outside the ring. Kash tries to interfere but Watts pops him. Jerry Lynn, who is handcuffed to Kash, pulls him back. Callis throws Watts into the steps but Watts regains control and sends Callis into the crowd. Callis throws a chair at Watts and pounds him with the chair. Watts rebounds with chops until he clocks Callis with the chair. Callis attempts to leave but Watts catches him. Watts reverses a piledriver and backdrops Callis on the stage. Getting back in the ring, Jarrett grabs Watts’ foot and gives Callis the upper hand. Watts makes a comeback and tries for a chokeslam but Callis drops the referee. Trinity runs in and hits a moonsault on Watts. Callis goes for the pin but Watts kicks out. Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas come out with a key and start letting some of the heels out of their handcuffs and brawling starts ringside. Trinity and Callis try to hit Watts with the title belt, but Watts kicks it into Callis’ face. Watts powerbombs Trinity and Goldylocks follows with a kick to her gut. Callis has the NWA belt and charges Watts with it. Watts ducks and goes for the chokeslam. Goldylocks, who is behind Watts, lowers down and gives him the Mexican uppercut, dropping him. Callis tags Watts with the belt and gets the pin. Team Jarrett celebrates in the ring.
