As soon as Crush comes out, Randy Savage goes after Crush and attacks him. Crush gets the better of Savage and Randy has a minute to get back to the ring, or he will lose. Savage later gets a pin on Crush right at ringside, and Crush has 60 seconds to get back in the ring. Mr. Fuji is by his side trying to wake him up to help him into the ring. A video package is shown for the history of Yokozuna and Lex Luger. Last year on July 4, Lex Luger body slammed Yokozuna, and Luger went to Summer Slam to face Yokozuna in a one on one match. Lex Luger came out the winner of that contest, but he didn't win the belt, because he won as a result of a count out. Yokozuna kept the belt, and that was Lex Luger's only title shot. Lex Luger and Bret Hart won the WWE Royal Rumble at the beginning of this year, and tonight, the two go against Yokozuna in separate matches for the WWE Championship. If Luger wins the belt, later in the night, he will go against Bret in a title defense.

Stan Lane is backstage with Owen Hart, and they are on the Superstar line for the fans who call to hear what they are saying.

Winner - Earthquake
Todd Pettengill is with Yokozuna, and Todd says he was back here trying to separate Luger and Yokozuna, and Jim Cornette asks Todd who has the belt and who is still the Champion? Todd was saying that Luger had it won, but Jim counters it with that comment. Jim says that he thinks Mr. Perfect did a wonderful job as the referee, and he mentions that the special referee was agreed on by both parties. Jim says that the question is will Bret walk out of the match later tonight with his health? Jim Cornette says Bret is going to have to deal with the fact that it's not about Bret trying to win the belt, it's about Bret trying to keep himself in one piece. Jim says Yokozuna is mad and hungry, and he wants to be fed. Jim says Yokozuna will the shark, the wrestling ring will be the ocean and Bret will be the blood that Yokozuna feasts on.
World Wrestling Entertainment Intercontinental Championship Match
Ladder Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (c)
The two belts are shown hanging above the ring, and this next contest is a ladder match. To win the match, you have to grab both belts from above the ring using a ladder. There are two belts because as of late, Shawn Michaels has been carrying around a fake Intercontinental Championship belt, and this match was set. It's Razor Ramon against Shawn Michaels, and Diesel is in the corner of the Heartbreak Kid! Shawn Michaels has stated that if he were to win this match, he'd give the fake belt to Diesel as a reward. As the match goes on, Diesel gives Shawn a hand, and he was caught by the referee. The referee demanded that Diesel go to the backstage area as this match goes on. Anything goes in this contest, and you can use the ladder to your advantage. Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon battle back and forth in an extremely hard fought contest, and Shawn Michaels gets his leg tied up in the ropes and Razor Ramon takes that opportunity to grab both of the Intercontinental Championship belts to win the match.
Winner and still WWE Intercontinental Champion, Razor Ramon
I.R.S., Jeff Jarrett, the Headshrinkers and Rick Martel are backstage, and they are arguing about who is the Captain of their team. They can't decide who is going to be the Captain, and it doesn't look like we are going to have that match. Todd Pettengill is with the President again, and he just wants to see how he is enjoying Wrestlemania X. The Million Dollar Man is up there as well, and Dibiase says he is pleasured to have the President as a guest at Wrestlemania X. Ted says that the President would have to agree on one thing, and that's that everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Man.
World Wrestling Entertainment Championship Match
Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Yokozuna (c)
A video package is shown for Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and he is set to go against Yokozuna for the WWE Championship belt, next! A video package is also shown for Yokozuna, and there isn't a big feud going into this match, but these two have crossed paths in the past. The ring announcer introduces the special guest celebrities for this final contest, and they are Jennie Garth and Burt Reynolds. Jennie will be the time keeper and Burt will be the special guest ring announcer. Burt Reynolds introduces the special guest referee, and it's none other than Rowdy Roddy Piper! As soon as Bret and Yoko get in the ring, Yokozuna attacks Bret Hart to start off the match, and they didn't even wait for Burt Reynolds to get out of the ring! Jim Cornette and Piper exchange words for a moment, and Piper cleans his clock with a right hand! Yokozuna goes for the banzai drop and then loses his balance on the ropes and falls off and Bret Hart pins him for the win to become the new WWE Champion! Many would claim that it was Roddy Piper who knocked Yokozuna off the ropes, but that's a question that will remain unanswered, because it really didn't look like he did anything. After the match, Lex Luger comes into the ring and celebrates with Bret Hart. Other wrestlers come from the back, such as Razor Ramon, Tatanka, the 123 Kid and others to celebrate with Bret Hart on his title win. Owen comes out and just looks at Bret from theaisle way as Wrestlemania goes off the air.
Winner and new WWE Champion, Bret "The Hitman" Hart
