Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal (c)
Rob Van Dam's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship in the Toronto Skydome! This is Rob Van Dam's first Wrestlemania and hopefully he has many to come.
The start:
Regal attempted to nail Rob Van Dam with a clothesline, but Rob ducked it and controlled the match in the early goings, using his speed against William Regal.
Mid-match notes:
Regal reached into his tights for the brass knuckles and he got them out, but RVD quickly kicked them off of Regal's hand. Moments later, RVD knocked Regal down with a kick to the chest and then he went for the Five Star, but Regal rolled out of the way. Regal gave RVD a nasty version of the Regal Slam (modified neck breaker) and then he pinned him for a two count. Regal was busted opened at the mouth. Later in the match, Regal gave Rob Van Dam a NASTY half nelson / German suplex. RVD looked like he hurt himself on that move, but he was able to come back in the match. Shortly after that, Regal picked up the brass knuckles and put them on, but the referee detected them and pulled them off Regal's hand.
The finish:
As the referee got rid of the brass knuckles, Regal pulled another set out and Rob hit Regal with a heel kick and then he came off the top rope with the Five Star Frog Splash to win the WWE Intercontinental Title!
Winner and new WWE Intercontinental Champion, Rob Van Dam
Backstage:
Christian was shown with a DDP-like smile on his face and Lilian Garcia talked to him about his match against Diamond Dallas Page. Lilian asked Christian why he turned on DDP, even after DDP helped him win his match? Christian said that he won the match himself and after he used DDP to get back to his winning ways, he didn't need DDP anymore. Christian pointed out that he moved to Florida, because he doesn't need Toronto, Ontario anymore. Christian claimed that he's over his emotions and he's ready to reclaim his title of the Champion of Europe. Because he's a winner and for DDP, that's not a good thing, that's a bad thing.

Christian vs. Diamond Dallas Page (c)
Christian's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring for a one on one match against Diamond Dallas Page for the WWE European Title!
The start:
As Diamond Dallas Page got into the ring, Christian attacked him by stomping him down in the ring. DDP quickly fired back with some right hands on Christian as Jim Ross pointed out that Diamond Dallas Page was a part of Wrestlemania 6, driving the pink cadillac to the ring.
Mid-match notes:
DDP went to nail Christian with a right hand, but he ducked. With Christian ducking, DDP decided that it was a perfect opportunity for a power bomb and he did just that into a pin. Shortly after, Christian went for the Unprettier, but it was countered and DDP went for the Diamond Cutter three times, but Christian countered it. The third time, he countered it into a reverse DDT.
The finish:
Christian was about to throw a temper tantrum, but he calmed himself down and not too long after that, DDP gave Christian the Diamond Cutter to pick up the win and retain the European Title!
Winner and still WWE European Champion, Diamond Dallas Page
The Aftermath:
After the match, DDP told Christian that he's proud of him. Not only did he lose tonight, but he didn't lose his temper and that's pretty impressive. He controlled his anger, even though he lost in front of 67,000 fans watching in the Skydome and the zillions of fans watching at home. That's not a bad thing, it's a good thing! At that point, Christian got angry and threw a temper tantrum in the middle of the ring.
Backstage:
The Coach was shown with The Rock and The Coach started talking about tonight's match, but The Rock cut him off. The Rock talked about the biggest match of all time: Hogan vs. The Rock. Last week, Hogan stood in the ring and asked The Rock what he's going to do when Hulkamania runs wild on him. The Rock stated that he wants Hulkamania to run wild on him tonight. He wants Hulkamania in all of his glory. The Rock looked at The Coach and asked him if he took his vitamins this morning and The Coach said he did. The Rock asked him if he said his prayers, but The Coach got kind of busy. The Rock didn't like that one bit, so he told him to say his prayers. Get on your knees and say your prayers! The Coach did just that, but as he said "What up, G?" The Rock didn't like that one bit, so he kicked him off the set and called him a sick freak. You don't give thanks like that.
The Rock went back to Hulkamania and he asked Hogan what he's going to do when The Rock runs wild on him? The Rock decided to tell us what he's going to do and that's that Hogan is going to feel the electricity like never before and he's going to hear 70,000 strong chanting Hogan and The Rock's name and he'll feel the people's elbow coming down on his chest, but above all else, he will smell what The Rock is cookin'!

Kurt Angle vs. Kane
Kurt Angle's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one on one match against Kane.
Before the match:
Kurt Angle got on the mic before the match and he said if he would have won his Olympic Gold Medal the way Canada's figure skaters won theirs, he'd want to shoot himself in the head! Unlike their so called Olympic Gold Medalists, he didn't win the Gold Medal by whining and complaining until someone gave it to him, he won it the old fashioned way, he earned it! Why? Because he is the Big Red, White and Blue Machine! Kurt continued on, but Kane's music hit and he made his way out.
The start:
Kane did his posing in the ring as Kurt got out of the ring and after Kane's pyro went off, Kurt got in the ring and nailed Kane with the ring bell. From there, Kurt assaulted Kane with a number of right hands and he continued to dominate the Big Red Machine in the early goings.
Mid-match notes:
Kurt Angle gave Kane three German suplexes, followed by a pin, but was unable to pick up the win. Here's an interesting one, Kurt Angle went to the top rope and came off with a Kane-like jumping clothesline. His mistake was that he went up to do it again. On the second try, Kane nailed him with a clothesline on the way down.
Later on, Kane gave Kurt Angle a choke slam and he pinned Kurt, but they were close to the ropes. Kurt got out of the pin by simply putting his hand on the bottom rope. After that, Kane went for a tombstone on Kurt, but Kurt countered it and tried to pull Kane's mask off. With Kane pulling his mask back onto his face, Kurt Angle put Kane in the Angle Slam and then he pinned him but only got a two count.
Kurt Angle put the ankle lock on Kane, but Kane fought out of it. Kurt quickly applied the hold once again but Kane countered with an Enziguri.
The finish:
Kane went to the top rope for the jumping clothesline, but Kurt hopped up to the top rope and pulled Kane down with a belly to belly. After that, Kurt went for the Angle Slam, but Kane countered and went for a choke slam. Kurt countered the choke slam with a roll up and he used the ropes for leverage to pin Kane for a three count to pick up the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle
Hardcore Madness:
The Hurricane was shown in the backstage area and he picked up a broom and went behind a changing screen. A few of the Godfather's escorts showed up and as the Hurricane hid behind the screen, the ladies talked about their bodies. One of them discovered the Hurricane and they started screaming and the Godfather showed up and nailed the Hurricane and then he calmed his ladies down.

Ric Flair vs. the Undertaker
The Undertaker made his way out to the ring on his motorcycle and he's up against Ric Flair in this No Disqualification Match as made by Vince McMahon!
The start:
Flair quickly got in the ring and brawled with the Undertaker, knocking him to the outside of the ring with a hard right hand. The Undertaker and Flair battled onto the announcer's table.
Mid-match notes:
The Undertaker and Ric Flair were both busted opened during the match. Not sure what busted the Undertaker, but the 'hard right hands' busted Flair opened.
The Undertaker walked the top rope and went for the hard chop, but as he talked trash to Flair, Flair took that opportunity to yank the Undertaker down from the top rope.
Later on, Ric Flair pulled a lead pipe from the Undertaker's motorcycle and he used it on the Undertaker.
The Undertaker went for a choke slam on Ric Flair, but Ric countered it with a low blow that got a huge pop from the crowd. Shortly after, Ric Flair pulled the Undertaker down to the mat by the leg and put him in the figure four leg lock. The Undertaker got out of it by grabbing Ric Flair by the throat and giving him a choke slam in the middle of the ring. After the choke slam, the Undertaker pinned Flair but only got a two count.
An angered Undertaker picked Charles Robinson up and slammed him into the corner and then he got out of the ring and grabbed the lead pipe and went to use it on Flair. Flair avoided it with a knee to the mid section and then a number of chops. Flair whipped the Undertaker off the ropes and Arn Anderson showed up out of nowhere and gave the Undertaker a spinebuster. With that, Flair pinned the Undertaker but only got a two count. That prompted the Undertaker to go after Arn Anderson and beat him to a pulp, busting him opened. The Undertaker put Arn Anderson in a dragon sleeper, but Ric Flair got a steel chair and used it on the Undertaker to break the hold.
The finish:
The Undertaker went for the Last Ride on Ric Flair, but he couldn't get it on. He tried it again, but Ric Flair dropped down to the mat to avoid it and then the Undertaker put Ric Flair in the tombstone piledriver to pick up the win! The Undertaker is now 10-0 at Wrestlemania!
Winner - the Undertaker
The Aftermath:
After the match, the Undertaker laid out referee Charles Robinson with a nasty clothesline.
Backstage:

Booker T said that Edge isn't smarter, better or as good looking as he is. After tonight, Edge will be the spokesman for a new book called "I just got my ass kicked at Wrestlemania by the five time WCW Champion!" Now can you dig that, sucka?

Mid-match notes:
Edge went for the spear on Booker T, but Booker T avoided it and Edge went sailing into the corner. Booker T then knocked Edge down with a kick and then he did the spinaroonie in the middle of the ring. After that, he nailed Edge with the scissors kick to knock him down. Booker T then pinned Edge, but he only got a two count.
Edge later connected with the spear and then he did his version of the spinaroonie.
The finish:
After the spinaroonie, Edge went for the DDT, but Booker T countered it. Right after he countered it, Edge hooked Booker T and connected with the DDT to get the win!

With the referee down, Scott Hall got out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring where Kevin Nash held onto Stone Cold. Problem - the plan backfired. Stone Cold gave Kevin Nash a low blow and then he gave Scott Hall then Kevin Nash the stunner and both men were down and then he went for the pin. Another problem, no referee.
Referee Jack Doan stormed to the ring, but Kevin Nash gave him an elbow drop as he counted the pin.
Moments later, Scott Hall went for the Razor's Edge, but Austin gave him a back body drop to the outside of the ring to counter it.
A number of WWE officials then came out to the ringside area and they sent Kevin Nash back to the locker room area.

As the Hardys double teamed Chuck, the Dudleys set up a table at ringside and then the Hardys went at it with the Dudleys on the outside next to the table.

Hollywood Hogan vs. The Rock
It's time. It's time for the biggest match in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment and that's Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock! Hogan made his way out to the ring first, alone. Hulk Hogan got an unbelievable reaction as he stood in the ring, awaiting his opponent: The Rock. The Rock came out and the crowd cheered for him as well, but his reaction wasn't nearly as big as that of Hulk Hogan. The Rock and Hulk Hogan stood face to face in the ring and the reaction from the crowd was simply amazing as the two stared each other down.
The start:
The two started it off with a lock up in the center of the ring and Hogan used his power to shove The Rock down to the mat. The reaction was unbelievable as the fans cheered for Hogan, big time.
Mid-match notes:
The fans were well behind Hogan during this match. Mixed reaction for The Rock and you could hear a number of boos directed at The Rock as the match went on.
The two battled in and out of the ring. On the outside, The Rock tried to use a chair on Hogan, but referee Mike Chioda was there to take the chair away from The Rock.
Back in the ring, Hogan whipped The Rock across the ring who nailed the referee with a thunderous clothesline to knock him down and out.
With the referee down, The Rock put Hulk Hogan in the Sharpshooter and the fans booed him. You could briefly hear some fans chanting "We want Bret!" Hogan eventually tapped out to the Sharpshooter, but the referee was down so it went undetected. After The Rock released the Sharpshooter, the fans chanted "Rocky sucks, Rocky sucks!" and then Hogan gave The Rock a low blow and the fans went nuts and then Hogan gave The Rock the Rock Bottom. Hogan pinned The Rock, but he kicked out.
A shocked Hogan took his work-out belt off and whipped The Rock with it as hard as he could. Moments later, The Rock got a hold of the leather belt and used it on Hogan to return the favor.
The Rock gave Hulk Hogan the Rock Bottom after the whipping fest, but Hogan kicked out of the pin. Hogan started Hulking up and then he gave The Rock a number of right hands, the big boot, the leg drop and then he pinned him for a two count. Hogan couldn't believe that The Rock kicked out of the leg drop so he picked him up and gave him another big boot and went for another leg drop but The Rock rolled out of the way to avoid it.
The finish:
After Hogan missed the leg drop, The Rock gave Hulk Hogan the Rock Bottom and then he picked him up and gave him another one as the fans booed the People's Champion. The Rock then gave Hulk Hogan the people's elbow and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!
Winner - The Rock
The Aftermath:
After the match, The Rock did his posing in the ring as Hogan was slow to get back to his feet. The fans didn't exactly seem pleased that The Rock will walk away as the 'best ever' and the winner over Hulk Hogan and when Hogan got up, the two exchanged words. Hogan looked to be in a lot of pain as he held onto his ribs, but he extended his hand to The Rock and the two shook hands in the middle of the ring. (Note: It was reported on the Internet that Hulk Hogan has a broken rib and that looked to be really giving him troubles after the match.)
The Rock got out of the ring and Hulk Hogan gave The Rock the thumbs up and the fans cheered. As The Rock left, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came out to the ring and they didn't seem to like the fact that Hulk Hogan shook hands with The Rock so they beat him down in the ring. Seconds later, The Rock stormed to the ring to make the save for the man he just defeated. The Rock and Hogan cleared the ring of the two nWo members and then they stood in the ring, ready to fight incase they came back.
Hulk Hogan eventually tried to leave the ring, but The Rock stopped him. The Rock signaled for Hulk Hogan to do some old school Hogan posing for the crowd and the fans ate it right up. The fans went absolutely nuts for Hulk Hogan as he did his posing and The Rock remained in the ring and directed traffic as to which side of the arena to pose towards. As Hogan did his posing, The Rock had a big smile on his face and the two once again shook hands and it looks like these two have found a great amount of respect within each other as they left the ring together! Yes, you heard right, Hulk Hogan and The Rock left the ring TOGETHER.

Lita went for the Twist of Fate on Trish, but Trish avoided it so she gave it to Jazz. After that, Lita gave Trish a body slam and went for a moonsault on both Trish and Jazz, but Trish got her knees up into Lita's chest to avoid the pain.

Triple H vs. Chris Jericho (c)
Triple H's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for his shot at the Undisputed Championship against Chris Jericho! Drowning Pool played a live, remixed version of Triple H's song "Time to play the Game" and that can be found on the new WWE CD - Forceable Entry! Triple H's left leg was heavily taped up as a result of the attack he received at the hands of Chris Jericho this past Monday night on RAW and then again on Thursday night on Smackdown!. Chris Jericho brought Stephanie McMahon out to the ring with him and you gotta believe that she's going to do everything she can to keep the Championship belt on Jericho.
The start:
The two locked it up to start it off and Triple H powered Chris Jericho into the corner, but Chris countered and backed Triple H into the corner but the Game battled out of the corner with some shots to the back. Chris Jericho went for a chop block to the knee, but Triple H avoided it and then he knocked Chris down with a hard right hand and then a high back body drop.
Mid-match notes:
Stephanie interfered in the match, but it didn't do much. Triple H pulled her up onto the apron and Chris Jericho went to make the save, but he knocked her down from the apron. Triple H then brought Stephanie into the ring and set her up for the Pedigree but Chris Jericho came off the top rope with a missile drop kick to stop it.
Chris Jericho worked over the leg of Triple H as he slammed it into the ring post and then he put him in the figure four on the ring post.
Later on, Chris Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho on Triple H on top of the announcer's table, but Triple H kicked Chris Jericho in the stomach to avoid it. Triple H then went for the Pedigree on the announcer's table, but Chris gave Triple H a back body drop through the Spanish announcer's table!
A while after that, Chris Jericho got Triple H in the Walls of Jericho in the center of the ring and Triple H tried to get to the ropes, but he was unable to do so. Triple H eventually got to the ropes and Jericho thought that Triple H tapped out and he couldn't believe that he didn't.
Jericho got out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and as Stephanie distracted the referee he went to use it on Triple H, but the Game kicked the chair back into Chris Jericho's face. Triple H then gave Chris Jericho a DDT onto the steel chair and then he pinned him for a two count.
Stephanie then got in the ring and tried to use the chair, but the referee stopped her. Stephanie shoved the referee after an argument and then Triple H grabbed Stephanie and put her in the Pedigree! That Pedigree hurt the leg of Triple H and as the referee was rolling Stephanie out of the ring, Jericho nailed Triple H with the steel chair, but that wasn't good enough to pick up the win as he got a two count off a pin.
Moments later, Chris Jericho went for a Pedigree of his own on Triple H, but Triple H countered it into a slingshot into the corner but Chris caught onto the second rope. Chris jumped at Triple H but Triple H kicked him in the gut and then he put him in the Pedigree to win the Undisputed Championship of World Wrestling Entertainment!
Winner and new WWE Undisputed Champion, Triple H
