20 Man Battle Royal
Mean Gene is in the ring, and he asks the fans to join him in welcoming one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Gladys Knight! She sings the National Anthem to kick off the night. A number of WWF Superstars are on their way to the ring, and the night is going to kick off with a battle royal! Some wrestlers that are in the battle royal are the Hart Foundation, Sika, the Young Stallions, the Killer Bees, the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, Bad News Brown, Sam Houston, Ken Patera, Nikolai and Boris, the Junkyard Dog and many more! The winner of this match will win a trophy and they will go home with the winner's share of the purse money.
The match is on, and the final three men in the ring are Bret Hart, the Junkyard Dog and Bad News Brown. Bad News and Bret Hart double team the Junkyard Dog, and the two go to toss him over the top rope, and they do just that. Bret and Bad News celebrate in the ring as if they both won and when Bret turns his back, Bad News Brown attacks him. Bad News Brown tosses Bret Hart out of the ring and over the top rope to get the win. When Bad News Brown gets his trophy, Bret Hart gets in the ring and smashes the trophy right in the middle of the ring to get a positive reaction from the crowd.

Ted Dibiase and Virgil is shown, and we are moments away from the match between Ted and Jim Duggan. Ted says that he is what true class is all about, and you will never find the Million Dollar Man in a smelly locker room. Ted says that he has too much class to lover himself to that level, and tonight, he will be the undisputed WWF Champion. Ted Dibiase says that Jim Duggan is probably the lowest class of all of them, and Ted says that this interview is over, and he is going to take care of business, right now!
First Round (Tournament Match)
Ted Dibiase vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Robin Leach is introduced to the ring, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is introduced to the ring to go against Ted Dibiase in this first round tournament for the WWF Championship. Andre the Giant and Virgil come out with Ted Dibiase and Ted gets in the ring and the match is on between Duggan and Dibiase! The two battle back and forth and Andre nails Duggan and Ted Dibiase pins him to get the win. After the match, Duggan gets his two by four and he tries to attack Dibiase with it, but he quickly gets out of the ring and leaves with Andre and Virgil.
Winner - Ted Dibiase
Mean Gene is with Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and he could end up with some gold tonight! Brutus has his clippers with him, and Brutus says that he knows that the Honky Tonk Man won't forget who he is. After tonight is all over with and done, he will be the new Champion! Gene says that Jimmy Hart has interjected himself into more than one of the Honky Tonk's matches, but Brutus says that he's got the blades to stop him. Brutus says that Jimmy Hart could get his hair cut, tonight.
Dino Bravo vs. The Rock, Don Muraco
Dino Bravo is on his way to the ring along with Frenchy Martin, and Dino is Canada's Strongest Man. Dino Bravo is going against The Rock, Don Muraco in a one on one match! The Rock has Superstar Billy Graham with him, and they are both wearing tie dye t-shirts. The two get in the ring, and the match is on. Both men use their power against each other and the referee gets knocked down by being squished in between both wrestlers. Dino gives The Rock the side suplex, and the referee goes over and taps Dino Bravo and then calls for the bell. The Rock gets the win by disqualification!

Ricky Steamboat is with his family, and he says that 1988 on the Oriental Calender is the year of the Dragon, and that's him. Ricky tells everyone out there that this year and day is dedicated to his son. He has some added support now, and everything he does in professional wrestling from this day forward is for his son.
Bob Ueker backstage, and he is waiting for Vanna White. Jimmy Hart and the Honky Tonk Man show up and Bob tells them that they are going to find Brutus Beefcake very soon. Bob tells Jimmy that he is going to be losing some locks in about 20 minutes. The Honky Tonk Man says that this is serious business, and Brutus is going to get it, and that's the Shake Rattle and Roll.
First Round (Tournament Match)
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
Greg Valentine is in the ring, and he's set for a one on one match against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat! Ricky carries his son to the ring, and they are dressed the same! Jimmy Hart is in the corner of Greg Valentine and the two lock it up to start off the match up and both of these guys are former Intercontinental Champions. Ricky Steamboat goes to the top rope and gives Greg a high cross body, but the Hammer turns it over into a pinfall of his own to get the win.

The British Bulldogs are shown with Mean Gene, and they have Matilda with them. They have Koko B. Ware by their side as well, and the Dynamite Kid says that Matilda has been through some training, and the British Bulldog says that Matilda is the only certifiable weasel dog, and they are going to take him weasel hunting for Bobby Heenan. Koko says that he smells a weasel hunt, and they are all hyped up to go against the Islanders and Bobby Heenan.
Greg the George is backstage, and he is with someone who is delivering a package. Greg asks him what the package is, and he says he doesn't know, because he only deliverers. He delivers it to Bobby Heenan, and Greg tries to find out what is in the package. Greg tries to find out from Bobby what is in the box, and Bobby tells him that it's none of his business. Bobby says that what is in the box belongs to him, and it's none of anyone's business.
First Round (Tournament Match)
Butch Reed vs. Randy Savage
The Natural, Butch Reed is in the ring with Slick and Butch is going against Randy Savage in this first round contest! Elizabeth accompanies Savage to the ring, and she is the first lady of wrestling. The power in this match belongs to Butch Reed, but the guts has to go to Randy Savage. Butch Reed goes to the top rope and Savage throws him off and then does the elbow drop from the top rope to him to get the win.
Winner - Randy Savage
Bob Ueker is backstage, and he is waiting for Vanna White! Bob talks about Wrestlemania and then the Islanders show up with Bobby Heenan. Bob says that Matilda is back and Bobby is in a jam. Bobby says he doesn't have to take insults from Ueker or anyone else. Bobby says that he's got a surprise for everybody, and he's got his Islanders!
First Round (Tournament Match)
The One Man Gang vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
The One Man Gang is in the ring, and he is waiting for his opponent in Bam Bam Bigelow to come to the ring. Slick is in the corner of the One Man Gang and to start off the match, the One Man Gang hammers away on Bigelow. The One Man Gang gets the win by a count out when the Gang takes Bigelow out of the ring, and before Bigelow could get back in the ring, the referee counts to ten.

Mean Gene is standing by with Hulk Hogan, and Hogan is getting pumped up to go against Andre the Giant in the WWF Championship Tournament. Hogan says it's been hard to live with, and one long year, Andre's time has come. Hogan says that he has been scared for one long year, and all the Hulksters have asked him if there was any truth to the fact that there was a controversial count, and if he really slammed the Giant. Hogan says that tonight at Wrestlemania IV, they are going to wipe out all the controversy, and Hogan is going to prove that he can beat Andre at any place and any time. Hogan says if you look into the eyes of the fans, you see the fears of all the Hulksters, they realize that when Hogan slams Andre through the trump plaza, they fear the earth shaking of Andre hitting the ground.
First Round (Tournament Match)
"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Ravishing" Rick Rude are on their way to the ring and Rick Rude gets in the ring and trash talks the fans. Jake comes to the ring and he's got his snake with him. Jake enters the ring, and the match is on between Rick Rude and Jake Roberts! The two battle in a back and forth contest and to end the match, the referee calls for the bell and rules the match a time limit draw. That means that both men are eliminated from the tournament, and after the match, Jake gets his snake out and tries to put it on Rick Rude, but Rude escapes from the ring.
Winner - Draw
Mean Gene is with Vanna White and they are at the Championship Elimination Board that will lead to a new WWF Champion by the end of the day! Vanna says she is having a great time at Wrestlemania, and Gene asks Vanna if she saw Bob Ueker. Vanna asks who? Gene asks Vanna her opinion on the Hulk Hogan/Andre match. Vanna says she likes Hulk, and she's been talking to him, and he's so nice. Gene asks her who she likes in the other matches, and she's clearly behind all the "good guys" on the card.
Hercules vs. the Ultimate Warrior
Hercules is being introduced to the ring, and he is going against the Ultimate Warrior in a one on one match! The Ultimate Warrior storms to the ring, and he's a house of fire! The two battle back and forth and Hercules gives the Warrior a belly to back suplex into a pin, and the Ultimate Warrior got his shoulders up and Hercules wound up pinning himself! After the match, Hercules gets his chain and wraps it around the neck of the Warrior. The Ultimate Warrior gets out of it and swings the huge chain around the ring to celebrate his win.
Winner - the Ultimate Warrior
Some history is shown between Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan, and it goes back to last year when the two went to Wrestlemania 3 to wrestle for the WWF belt. The two went at it at Wrestlemania 3, and Hulk Hogan got the win to retain the Championship belt. This year, the two will be going at it in the WWF title tournament!
Second Round (Tournament Match)
Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan
Andre the Giant is on his way to the ring along with his manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, and he's got Ted Dibiase with him as well as Virgil. As soon as Hulk Hogan gets in the ring, Andre the Giant attacks him it looks like he is going to go for a quick win over Hogan. Andre dominates Hogan, and then when Hogan gets control, Virgil distracts the referee and Ted Dibiase gets in the ring and hits Hogan with a chair. From there, Hogan gets the chair and hits Andre the Giant with it, and the two use the chair on each other with the referee looking on. The referee eventually calls for the bell and rules the match a double disqualification. Hulk Hogan chases Ted Dibiase and Virgil down theaisle, and Ted throws Virgil to Hogan and then he leaves as Hogan beats up on Virgil in theaisle way. Hogan comes back to the ring and he scoops up Andre the Giant and body slams him down to the mat!
Winner - Double disqualification
Mean Gene is backstage with the Macho Man and Elizabeth, and Gene says he can't believe that one of those two men didn't advance. Savage says that Hulk Hogan is a cheated man, not a defeated man. Savage says that Hulk Hogan has never been defeated, and Gene says there is more to come. Gene asks Savage to speculate as to how far he will get in the tournament. Savage says that nothing is going to stop the Macho Man, Randy Savage now! Savage says that nothing is going to stop one half of the Mega Powers from taking it all. Savage asks Elizabeth if he is going to take it all, and Elizabeth says she believes he is.
Second Round (Tournament Match)
The Rock, Don Muraco vs. Ted Dibiase
The Rock, Don Muraco is on his way to the ring, and he's got Superstar Billy Graham with him, and he is going against Ted Dibiase in this second round match up. Whoever wins this, is going to go straight to the finals, because they will get a buy! Muraco scoops up Dibiase by the hair before he even gets in the ring, and he slams him into the ring from the apron to start off the contest. The two battle back and forth and Ted Dibiase gets himself into the finals by pinning The Rock after a hot shot over the top rope.
Winner - Ted Dibiase
Bob Ueker is backstage, and he still hasn't found Vanna White. Demolition shows up and Smash says that it's just a couple of minutes away for them to go against Strike Force. They have Mr. Fuji with them as their manager, and Ax says that they are going to get in brutal contact with the Strike Force, and all they have to do is bring home the gold belts.
Second Round (Tournament Match)
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
The One Man Gang is in the ring, and the ring announcer says that his opponent was eliminated from the first round, so he will get a buy. The One Man Gang goes backstage, and then the ring announcer introduces Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and he's going against the Macho Man Randy Savage in this second round contest! The match is on, and Greg works on Savage with a series of forearms in the corner. The two battle against each other and Greg goes for the figure four leg lock, but Savage reverses it into a small package to get the win.
Winner - Macho Man Randy Savage
Mean Gene is with Vanna White backstage, and Gene tells Vanna that Bob Ueker is driving him nuts. Gene asks her if she's hiding, and Vanna says that she doesn't know who he is talking about. They look at the tournament brackets some more, and Vanna says that she still likes Hulk, even though he didn't win.
World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship Match
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake vs. The Honky Tonk Man (c)
The music of the Honky Tonk Man is playing and he is on his way to the ring to defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. The Honky Tonk Man has Jimmy Hart in his corner and you gotta wonder what kind of impact he will have in this contest. Brutus comes to the ring, and the match is on! Brutus gets the sleeper on the Honky Tonk Man, and the Honky Tonk Man does his best to get to the ropes, but he just can't do it. Jimmy Hart gets on the apron and he nails the referee with the megaphone so the Honky Tonk Man can't lose. Brutus releases the hold and then he signals that he is going to cut some hair! Brutus goes after Jimmy Hart as he grabbed the bag with the shears in it. Jimmy tries to go under the ring, but Brutus catches him and drags him out from under the ring and Brutus cuts the hair of Jimmy Hart! Peggy Sue gets a water bucket and gets in the ring and splashes the Honky Tonk Man to wake him up and the referee is still out of it. Other WWF officials come to the ring and stop Brutus from getting at the Honky Tonk Man with the shears. The winner of the match as a result of a disqualification is Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, because Jimmy took out the referee.

Bob Ueker is backstage with Andre the Giant, and Andre says that he is still undefeated, and then he goes on to say that Ted Dibiase is on his way to the Championship. Andre says that Ted Dibiase paid him to keep Hogan out of the tournament, and then he laughs and says that Hogan is the Ex-Champion.
Greg the George is standing by backstage, and he is looking to get a word with Jimmy Hart. Jimmy is embarrassed, because of his hair. The Honky Tonk Man says that Brutus will stoop to any lengths and the Honky Tonk Man says that Brutus did what he said he was going to do. The fact of the matter is that he didn't win the Championship, and the Honky Tonk Man says that he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.
Six Man Tag Team Match
The Islanders and Bobby Heenan vs. the British Bulldogs and Koko B. Ware
Bobby Heenan and the Islanders are on their way to the ring, and Bobby Heenan is wearing a jacket so he can't be bitten by the dog of the British Bulldogs. The Bulldogs have Matilda with them, and Koko has Frankie with him as well. This is fixing to be a great six man tag team match, and this is the first time that we have seen Matilda in quite some time. The two teams battle back and forth and the Islanders slam Koko to the mat and then they drag Heenan over to Koko and they splash him on top of Koko and Heenan pins Koko B. Ware to get the win! After the contest, the British Bulldogs sick Matilda on Bobby Heenan in theaisle way.

The ring announcer asks for the attention of the fans, and he would like to direct the attention to the Wrestlemania IV banner, and he would like to acknowledge the presence of Jesse "The Body" Ventura! Jesse stands up and he takes his jacket off, and he looks to be in great shape as he poses for the fans. The ring announcer then talks about the double elimination of Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan, and he says that Ted Dibiase has drawn a buy and he will go to the final round, and he will meet the winner of the next match!
Bobby Heenan is standing by and he says that if you think that any body is ever going to miss treat him like that again, if anyone is going to hook him into a match again, you can think again. Bobby says that he would be in some hospital right now if he weren't wearing that jacket. Bobby says that he survived, because he used his brains.
Third Round (Tournament Match)
One Man Gang vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
The One Man Gang is heading to the ring, and he is led by Slick. He is going against Savage in this semi final contest in the WWF Championship Tournament. Elizabeth is once again in the corner of Randy Savage, and the fans are on their feet for Savage! The two get in the ring, and the match is on. The two battle back and forth and Elizabeth gets on the apron and the Slickster gets on her case. From there, the One Man Gang hits Savage with a cane, and then goes to jam him in the throat with it, but he keeps missing. The referee calls for the bell when he sees the cane in the ring.

World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship Match
Demolition vs. Strike Force (c)
Mean Gene is with Vanna White, and Vanna leaves, and Bob shows up and he is still looking for Vanna White. Bob says that she wrote him some letters, and wanted to see him, but he can't find her. Demolition are on their way to the ring and they are going against Strike Force for the WWF Tag Team Championship belts! Demolition has Mr. Fuji with them as their manager, and Strike Force are the WWF Tag Team Champions! All hell breaks loose and Fuji gets on the apron and distracts Santana and the referee, and Ax gets the cane and hits Rick Martel with it and then he pins him to get the win and Demolition are the new WWF Tag Team Champions!
Winners and new WWF Tag Team Champions, Demolition
Greg the George is backstage and he has the new WWF Tag Team Champions with him, and Mr. Fuji talks about them winning the belts. Smash says that Master Fuji wanted it, and what Master Fuji wants, he gets. Ax says that this was the first meeting between Demolition and Strike Force, and Ax says that Strike Force couldn't hide forever. Ax says they took care of everything and won the match and became the Champs!
It is now time for the final event, and it is the final match in the WWF Championship Elimination Tournament, and it will determine the undisputed WWF Heavyweight Champion! Howard Finkel introduces the presenter of the Championship belt, and he is the Life Styles of the Rich and Famous' own, Robin Leach! Robin Leach comes out with the WWF Championship belt, and the new Champion will either be Savage or Ted Dibiase! The ring announcer introduces the guest ring announcer and it's Bob Ueker!

Final Round (Tournament Match)
Ted Dibiase vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
Bob introduces the guest time keeper, and it's none other than Vanna White! Andre the Giant accompanies Andre the Giant to the ring, and Virgil is no where in sight. Savage comes up to a huge ovation and the two lock it up to start off the match up. Not only does Savage have to wrestle Ted Dibiase, but he has to find a way to avoid Andre the Giant on the outside of the ring. Ted Dibiase goes to the top rope, but Savage catches him and throws him off the top. Savage then goes to the top rope and goes to give Ted Dibiase the elbow, but he misses. Ted Dibiase gets the Million Dollar Dream on Savage, but Savage gets to the ropes. Hogan comes to the ring and hits Ted Dibiase with a steel chair while the referee is distracted by Andre the Giant. Savage then goes to the top rope and gives Ted Dibiase the elbow drop from the top rope to get the win and become the new WWF Champion! Hulk Hogan and Elizabeth get in the ring to celebrate with Savage as Wrestlemania comes to an end.
