King Haku vs. Hercules

Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura are the commentators for tonight, and King Haku is on his way to the ring along with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, and he is going against Hercules in a one on one match here tonight to kick off Wrestlemania V! Hercules has a chain around his neck as he makes his way to the ring and when he gets in the ring, he swings the heavy chain around to clear the ring! Haku sneaks up from behind of Hercules and attacks him to start off this contest! Hercules gives King Haku a back suplex into a pin and he pinned him for the win, even though it looked like both men's shoulders were down.

Winner - Hercules

The Twin Towers vs. the Rockers

Slick is in the ring with the Big Bossman and Akeem, and they are in tag team action against the Rockers, and the Bossman and Akeem are known as the Twin Towers as a collective unit. The Rockers have a huge disadvantage in this contest as the Twin Towers are so much bigger than The Rockers. The Rockers run away from the Twin Towers, to try to wear the big men down and they use their speed against them in the early goings. The two teams battle back and forth and the Twin Towers are just too powerful for the Rockers. Akeem gives Shawn Michaels a big splash to win the contest.

Winners - The Twin Towers

Tony Shiavoni is with the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase and Virgil. He will go against Brutus Beefcake later tonight. Ted says that he has been waiting for this day for some time, and there will be people with money and class watching him demolish Beefcake. Ted says that Beefcake is looking at a man who spends thousands of dollars to be groomed the way he is.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake vs. The Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase

Howard Finkel is introducing Virgil and the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase to the ring, and Dibiase is going against Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake in a one on one match. Brutus brings a bag to the ring with him and he has hedge clippers in the bag! Ted Dibiase jaw jacks with Brutus Beefcake before they start wrestling and Brutus starts off with some hip tosses against Ted Dibiase. Dibiase bails out of the ring to break the momentum of Brutus! Ted Dibiase gets the Million Dollar Dream on Brutus, but Beefcake fights it and gets to the ropes and the referee breaks the hold. The match continues, and Brutus gets the sleeper on the Million Dollar Man, but Virgil got up on the apron and Brutus went after him. Ted Dibiase knocks Brutus out of the ring and then distracts the referee so Virgil can beat up on Brutus on the outside of the ring. Ted Dibiase and Brutus Beefcake fight on the outside of the ring to a double count out, but the two continue to battle. Brutus shoves Ted Dibiase into the steel post and then goes after Virgil and Virgil gets caught inside of the ring and then puts the sleeper hold on Virgil!

Winner - Double count out

Mean Gene is with Ravishing Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan, and later on tonight, Rick Rude will be going against the Ultimate Warrior for the Intercontinental Championship. Bobby Heenan says that if Rick Rude keeps his game plan, he will become the Champion. Rick says that he will be Ravishing when the night begins and he will be more Ravishing when the night ends with the belt around his waist.

The Fabulous Rougeaus vs. the Bushwackers

The Rougeau Brothers are on their way to the ring and they are going against the Bushwackers in tag team action! Jimmy Hart is in the corner of the Rougeaus and the Bushwackers get a hold of Jimmy's coat and they were about to tear it in half in the ring but the Rougeaus got in the ring and stopped them. The teams fight back and forth and the Bushwackers give Raymond the battering ram followed by a double stomach breaker to get the win.

The Blue Blazer vs. Mr. Perfect

Sean Mooney is on the arena floor and he is with the fans and they are having a great time. The Bushwackers show up and they lick Sean Mooney and celebrate their win in front of the crowd. Mr. Perfect is headed to the ring and he is set for a one on one match against the Blue Blazer! The Blue Blazer and Mr. Perfect lock it up in the middle of the ring to start off the contest and the Blue Blazer uses high flying moves against Mr. Perfect to try to gain the upper hand. The Blue Blazer goes for a big splash on Mr. Perfect, but Perfect brings the knees up and the Blue Blazer winds up landing on Perfect's knees. Mr. Perfect gave the Blue Blazer the Perfect-Plex to win the contest!

Sean Mooney is with a number of WWF Superstars at the Wrestlemania V festival. Tito Santana says it couldn't have been a better day, and Rick Martel is there with him and Tito says that we are going to see the old Strike Force in action and they will be going against the Brain Busters. Howard Finkel is announcing DMC to the ring and they are going to be doing the Wrestlemania Rap! Mean Gene is with Mr. Perfect and Mr. Perfect says that just like every single day of his life, it was a perfect night for Mr. Perfect. Gene says the buzz around the WWF even right now is that Bret Hart would like a piece of Mr. Perfect. Mr. Perfect says he likes to have fun and he is going to have fun at Bret Hart's expense and when it's all said and done, Bret Hart will know why Mr. Perfect is absolutely perfect!

World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship Match
Handicap Match - 3 vs. 2
The Powers of Pain vs. Demolition (c)

The Powers of Pain are in the ring along with Mr. Fuji and they are going against Demolition for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship in this handicap match! This is the first of three title defenses tonight and Demolition are walking into this contest as the Champions! Demolition give Mr. Fuji a double team move to pin him for the win to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship match. The match was a hard fought match, but Mr. Fuji got in there at the wrong time and got his butt beat.

Winners and still WWF Tag Team Champions, Demolition

Mean Gene is with the Big Bossman and Akeem and they are interested in the tag team championship belts. Slick says that he doesn't want to knock the Rockers, but he predicted that he would steam roll over them. Slick says that Demolition's careers have to cross the paths of the Twin Towers. Akeem says that Demolition won the match, but they had to beat a manager to do it. The Big Bossman says his cuffs are one size fits all, and he'll bust Demolition one way or another. Tony Shiavoni is in front of Randy Savage's locker room and he is trying to get a word with Savage. He starts to go in the locker room and Savage tells him to get out, and he told him no interviews!

"Rugged" Ronnie Garvin vs. Dino Bravo

Dino Bravo is headed to the ring and he is with his manager, Frenchy Martin. Dino Bravo is set for a one on one match against "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin! The ring announcer says that he has a special guest to introduce to everyone, and it's a man that can be classified as one of the all time greats in the WWF, and it's Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka! Dino and Ronnie Garvin battle back and forth for a few minutes, and Dino Bravo gives Ronnie Garvin a side suplex to get the win. After the match is over, Ronnie Garvin attacks Frenchy Martin in the ring as Dino Bravo looks on.

The Brainbusters vs. Strike Force

The Brainbusters are on their way to the ring along with Bobby "the Brain" Heenan, and they are going against Strike Force in this next tag team match. Rick Martel and Tito Santana are Strike Force, and Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson are the Brainbusters. As the match is going on, the members of Strike Force collide and Rick Martel leaves the ring side area and leaves Tito Santana in the ring to fight for himself. The Brainbusters give Tito a spike piledriver to win the match and this is a big win for the Brainbusters!

Winners - the Brainbusters

Mean Gene is with Rick Martel, and he asks what kind of explanation he has for his actions out there. Rick Martel says that as far as he is concerned, Tito got what he deserved, and he's sick and tired of carrying Tito around. Rick says he's sick and tired of him and he's been carrying him around for way too long. Rick says that Tito Santana is a loser, and he's lucky that he just walked out instead of doing something he could have done, instead.

The Piper's Pit is set up in the ring, and the ring announcer says that it's time for the Piper's Pit! Piper is introduced to the ring, and it's been a long time since we seen the Rowdy one. Roddy Piper isn't the one to come out to the ring, it's Brother Love, and he's got a kilt on! Brother Love gets in the ring and welcomes everyone to the Brother Love show, and the special guest is Brother Rodney Piper. Brother Love acts like he's both himself and Roddy Piper. This is just a total mockery of Roddy Piper, and Morton Downy Jr. is introduced to the ring next, and he comes to the ring to join Brother Love along with a cigarette in hand. Brother Love tells Morton that he loves him, but it doesn't mean that he likes him. Morton says that any guy who wears a skirt, he doesn't want to love him. Brother Love asks Morton how it feels to be on the Brother Love show. Morton calls Brother Love a fat boy and continues to smoke his cigarette. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is now introduced to the ring and he is now on his way to the ring, and he doesn't look too happy.

Roddy starts to look under the kilt of Brother Love and he makes a mockery of his hips and knees. Piper asks Brother Love if he's the one that was supposed to take his show, and Brother Love starts to talk, but Piper doesn't let him. Piper makes a mockery of Brother Love's being fat, and Roddy Piper and Brother Love exchange words, and Morton Downy Jr throws something at Roddy Piper. Piper ignores it and continues to exchange words with Brother Love. Roddy Piper takes the kilt off of Brother Love, and Brother Love storms out of the ring and does his best to make his way back to the locker room when he keeps tripping. Morton Downy is sitting in the ring still and he is smoking a cigarette, and he blows smoke into the face of Roddy Piper. Piper and Morton Downy Jr. exchange words in the ring and Morton continuously blows smoke into the face of Roddy Piper. Piper asks for a cigarette, and while Morton is lighting one up, Piper gets a fire extinguisher and sprays Morton Downy Jr. down in the ring with it.

A video package is shown for Hulk Hogan and Macho Man, Randy Savage, and it's how they got together as a team just one year ago at Wrestlemania IV! Mean Gene is with Hulk Hogan, and Hogan says that one year ago, he and Savage were as one, and they would do anything to win together. If they would have told him that one year later, they'd be locking horns, he would have called them a liar. Hogan says he should have seen this thing coming, as the Mega Powers were formed, as the Summer Slams and the Survivor Series went down, the Mania was a little bit ahead of the Madness. You were either in or you were out. The Macho Man made Hogan feel that he believed that he was in his corner. That's why they stayed together so long, and Savage did more than attack the Hulkamaniacs, and he put their manager in between them. It was the simple fact that Savage couldn't be the man that all the Hulkamaniacs wanted him to be. Hogan says that at the end of Wrestlemania 5, he will be the WWF Champion!

Special Guest Referee - Big John Studd
Andre the Giant vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Big John Studd is being announced to the ring, and he is the special guest referee for this next contest. This will be Andre the Giant against Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and John Studd is the referee! Bobby Heenan is in the corner of the 8th Wonder of the World, Andre the Giant and you gotta wonder what kind of impact he will have on this contest. Jake "The Snake" Roberts brings his bag with the huge snake in it, and the match starts off with Andre the Giant slamming Jake's head into the exposed turnbuckle pad. The two battle back and forth and Jake Roberts gets the bag with the snake in it and Andre the Giant nails Big John Studd, and John returns the favor! While John Studd and Andre are face to face, Ted Dibiase comes out and takes the snake away from Jake and heads backstage. Jake Roberts and Ted Dibiase wind up in a brawl in the middle of theaisle way and Andre beats up on John Studd in the ring. Jake gets his snake back and throws it in the ring, and Andre the Giant gets out of the ring and John Studd awards the match to Jake "The Snake" Roberts as a result of a disqualification.

Greg Valentine and The Honky Tonk Man vs. the Hart Foundation

Greg Valentine and the Honky Tonk Man are in the ring and they are waiting for their opponents, and they are the former WWF Tag Team Champions, the Hart Foundation! The two teams battle back and forth and Bret Hart nails the Honky Tonk Man with Jimmy Hart's megaphone and they win the match when Bret pins the Honky Tonk Man.

Winners - The Hart Foundation

World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship Match
"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. The Ultimate Warrior (c)

Rick Rude is on his way to the ring along with Bobby Heenan, and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line in just a moment with the Warrior defending against Rick Rude! Rick Rude gets in the ring and insults the fans by calling them sweat hogs, and he tells them to keep the noise down while he takes his robe off and gives the ladies a good look at the sexiest man alive. The Ultimate Warrior comes to the ring to a huge ovation from the fans, and he storms to the ring and he is the Intercontinental Champion! The two battle back and forth and the Ultimate Warrior goes to suplex Rick Rude into the ring, but Bobby Heenan pulls the Warrior's leg and holds it and Rick Rude becomes the new WWF Intercontinental Champion after the three count. After the match, the Ultimate Warrior pulls Bobby Heenan into the ring and beats upon him and then storms to the backstage area.

Bad News Brown vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

Bad News Brown is headed to the ring and he is set for one on one action against "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Bad News Brown is a street fighter from Harlem, and he wants nothing to do with any of the fans. You gotta believe that Jim Duggan is going to have some problems here going against Bad News Brown, because Bad News is just plan vicious. The two fight back and forth and Bad News Brown gets a steel chair and brings it into the ring, and Jim Duggan gets his two by four and the two battle with the weapons and the referee calls for the bell ordering the match a double disqualification.

Winner - Double disqualification

The Red Rooster vs. Bobby Heenan

Bobby Heenan is leading the Brooklyn Brawler to the ring, and he isn't set for action tonight. He isn't scheduled to be here, but no one is stopping him! The Red Rooster is being introduced to the ring as the opponent of the Bobby Heenan, and it looks like Bobby Heenan has some insurance in his corner for this one. The Red Rooster quickly gets the win when he rams Bobby's shoulder into the steel post and then pins him for the win. Right after the match, the Brooklyn Brawler gets in the ring and attacks the Red Rooster and knocks him out of the ring. The Red Rooster gets back up in the ring, and the Brooklyn Brawler quickly gets out of the ring and leaves with Bobby Heenan.

Winner - The Red Rooster

Mean Gene is with Miss Elizabeth, and he says we are just minutes away from the big main event, where the Mega Powers will explode! Liz says this is the most difficult day of her life, and she will continue to support both men. She says that it's unfortunate for everyone that they have to resolve their differences in this way. Liz says she can only hope and pray for one thing and that's that neither man will be seriously injured.

World Wrestling Federation Championship Match
Hulk Hogan vs. Macho Man, Randy Savage (c)

Macho Man, Randy Savage is on his way to the ring and he's going against his former tag team partner, Hulk Hogan and the WWF Championship is on the line! Savage is introduced to the ring and then Elizabeth is introduced to the ring, and she is Savage's manager. She will have to go to a neutral corner as she's supporting both men in this contest. Hulk Hogan comes to the ring to a huge ovation and everyone is on their feet for Hogan! The match is on, and Hulk Hogan winds up bleeding over one of his eyes and the two continue to fight back and forth in the ring and when Savage gets knocked to the outside of the ring, Elizabeth goes to help him, but he shows her that he doesn't want any help by swinging at her. The referee eventually tells Elizabeth to go back to the locker room, perhaps for her own safety. Savage gives Hogan the elbow drop from the top rope, but Hogan kicks out of it at a two count. Hogan starts to Hulk Up and Savage hammers away on him, but it has little to no effect. Hogan gives Savage 3 right hands, followed by a big boot and a leg drop for the win! Hulk Hogan is the new World Wrestling Federation Champion! Savage angrily goes to the backstage area as Hulk Hogan celebrates in the ring.
