The show starts off with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan running down the card, and Reba Macentyre sings the National Anthem. El Matador is in the first match against Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels comes to the ring with his valet, Sensational Sherri, and you gotta believe that since the Rockers broke up, Shawn Michaels is out to make a name for himself in singles competition. Shawn Michaels and Tito get face to face in the start of the match and Shawn Michaels turns around and poses to the crowd and then the two argue and as Shawn points his finger into Tito's chest, Tito shoves him. Shawn Michaels eventually grabs the win when El Matador tries to body slam Shawn from the apron to inside the ring, but Shawn reversed it into a pinfall for the three count.

Winner - Shawn Michaels

The cameras cut to Mean Gene, and he is on the arena floor. Mean Gene introduces the Legion of Doom, and they are the former WWF Tag Team Champions. The Legion of Doom and Paul Ellering join Mean Gene and the fans just go nuts for the LOD! Paul says that he has returned, and he is the bad apple. It was him that first brought the Legion of Doom together, it was ability that propelled the Legion of Doom to be the greatest team of all time. Paul says it was honor that formed the bond that forms the Legion of Doom, and it is revenge that unites them once again. Paul says this is the beginning of the end, for he has come not to get rich, but to get even. Animal says that the Legion of Doom beat everybody, and Jimmy Hart cheats on his own team. Animal says Jimmy is the lowest scum on the planet, and they are going to get revenge on him for causing them to lose the titles. Hawk says that they have been a run away train, and no one was driving it. Hawk says it was scary, and it's scarier now, because Paul is driving the train. Paul says all the tag teams out there ask themselves this question: "Is the going up worth the coming down?" because the LOD is great because they dare to be great. Paul says that they have always earned their money the old fashioned way, and that's that they beat people for it! Paul says that when his boys are good, they are very good, and when his boys are bad, they are very bad! Paul says he has come for one reason and one reason only, and it's those small details that are going to propel them back to the tag team titles that rightfully belong to the Legion of Doom. Animal says that he doesn't care if it's the Beverly Brothers, the Nasty Boyz, Money Incorporated, they are not going to let the Legion of Doomers down.

Sean Mooney is with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and he will be going against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania VIII. Sean says that he heard some rumors about Jake bringing a snake to the ring. Jake says that everyone knows Jack Tunney won't let him bring his snake to the ring. While he is talking, footage of Jake Roberts attacking both Paul Bearer and the Undertaker on the Funeral Parlor is shown and Jake says that he will put the final nail in the coffin for the Undertaker.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. The Undertaker

Jake Roberts is on his way to the ring, and he does not have a snake with him. He is going against the Undertaker in this one on one contest. The Undertaker slowly comes to the ring and Jake uses his speed against the Undertaker upon entering the ring. If the Undertaker can't catch Jake, he can't do much to him. Jake gives the Undertaker a number of right hands, but it doesn't seem to effect the Undertaker much. The two battle back and forth and Jake Roberts gives the Undertaker a DDT in the middle of the ring, but Jake didn't have the energy to go and pin the Undertaker to get he win right away. The Undertaker sits up and Jake gives the Undertaker a short clothesline, but the Undertaker sits right back up and gets up. Jake signals for another DDT and he delivers it to the Undertaker. Jake goes after Paul Bearer, but the Undertaker sits up and stops Jake from doing anything to him. The Undertaker scoops Jake up on the outside of the ring and gives him a tombstone piledriver! The Undertaker picks Jake up and puts him back inside the ring and then he pins him for the win.

Winner - the Undertaker

Mean Gene is standing by with Roddy Piper and Bret Hart, and this is the first time that these two men are meeting for the Intercontinental Championship! Roddy Piper is the Champion, and Bret is a former Champion. Roddy Piper says that he has to tell Bret how much he loves his family. Roddy Piper says that he's known Bret since he was a grasshopper. Piper says Bret wasn't potty trained until he was 7, and he pokes fun at Bret. Roddy has a little fun, and he puts his hand on Bret, and Bret tells Piper to keep his hands to himself. Bret says that all he wants is one thing, and that's the Intercontinental belt, and Piper has it. The two argue, and as Piper starts to leave, Bret turns him around and tells him that he would have had him with a hit, but Piper pulls out something and tells Bret that he wouldn't have.

Bret Hart is now on his way to the ring, and he is going against the current WWF Intercontinental Champion, and the belt is on the line! Piper comes to the ring with an angry face, and you gotta believe that he means business here tonight! Bret and Piper get face to face as the match starts, and the two just stare at each other for a few moments. The two fight back and forth and they seem to do anything they need to do to get the win. Bret Hart gets busted open during the match up and Roddy Piper gets a sleeper hold on Bret Hart, and Bret springs his feet off the ropes to wind up on top of Piper to pin him for the win and become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion! After the match, Piper grabs hold of the belt, and he gives it to Bret Hart in a sportsman like fashion.

Winner and new WWF Intercontinental Champion, Bret "The Hitman" Hart

Bobby Heenan shows Lex Luger, and he is the latest member of the WBF. Lex Luger says that he has been watching the standards of excellence of Bobby Heenan, but he can't say the same for the fat guy next to him, and he's referring to Gorilla Monsoon. Lex Luger says that it must be a thrill for everyone out there to see the Total Package, Lex Luger on their television from his home. Luger talks about the WBF, and he says that he is head and shoulders above the rest who are competing in the WBF.

Footage from earlier tonight is shown when the WWF had the chance to talk to some of the participants from the big 8 man tonight. The Mountie, Repo Man and the Nasty Boyz are shown, and they are getting pumped up for their match. Duggan, Slaughter, Virgil and the Big Bossman are shown as well, and they are getting hyped up as well. Ray Combs from Family Feud is in the ring, and he's introducing the next match, and as he does it, he pokes fun at the "bad guys" of the match, and it gets a good laugh out of the crowd.

Eight Man Tag Team Match
The Nasty Boyz, The Mountie and Repo Man
vs.
Sgt. Slaughter, Duggan, Virgil and the Bossman

This is not an elimination match, and when the Nasty Boyz go to attack Ray Combs for his comments, Duggan, Slaughter, Virgil and the Bossman attack the four they are going against. The two teams battle back and forth and this one is hard to keep track of. I'd hate to be the referee in this contest. The Nasty Boyz go to punch Virgil in the nose, but Virgil ducks and Saggs hits Knobbs in the face, and Virgil pins him for the win.

Winners - Duggan, Slaughter, Bossman and Virgil

Sean Mooney is with Mr. Perfect and the WWF Champion, Ric Flair, and Perfect and Flair talk about the match, and they have a big photo with them, and they are going to show the world a picture of Elizabeth. Ric Flair tells Savage to look to the big screen after he beats him, because Mr. Perfect will be showing the fold out of Elizabeth. Mean Gene is in front of the Macho Man's dressing room and Gene says that Savage isn't granting interviews to anyone, and he could be very focused on regaining the WWF title, or he could be trying to regain the honor of his wife, Elizabeth.

World Wrestling Federation Championship Match
"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair (c)

Ric Flair, the WWF Champion is on his way to the ring, and he's got Mr. Perfect with him, and he is defending the WWF Championship against the Macho Man, Randy Savage in this one on one match. Savage wastes little time getting to the ring, and he goes right after Flair upon entering the ring, and this is fixing to be one hell of a match. Flair bails out of the ring, and Savage goes after him and attacks him on the outside of the ring to start the match. Mr. Perfect gets a hold of Savage and he beats up on him so Flair can get back in the ring. The two battle in a hard fought match, and Savage gives Ric Flair the elbow drop from the top rope, and he pins Ric for a two count when Mr. Perfect gets in the ring and yanks Savage to the outside of the ring. Savage goes after Mr. Perfect and with the referee in between the two, they squish him in between them. Mr. Perfect takes something out of his pocket and gives it to Ric Flair and when Savage goes to Flair, Flair hits him right in the face with it. Ric Flair distracts the referee, and Mr. Perfect gets a steel chair and hits Ric Flair with it. Elizabeth does her best to make her way to the ring, and Dave Hebner is trying to keep her away from the ringside area. Ric Flair gets the figure four on Savage and Savage does his best to not give up. Savage eventually gets out of the hold and Ric Flair goes for a body slam on Savage, but Savage reverses it into a small package for a two count. Randy Savage gives Flair a right hand, and then rolls Flair up from behind hooking the tights to win the match and become the new Champion! After the match, Savage and Flair get it on a little more, but the officials make sure that stops.

Winner and new WWF Champion, Macho Man, Randy Savage

Sean Mooney is with Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair, and Perfect says that Savage had a hand full of trunks. Bobby Heenan shows up and says that he saw Savage holding his tights as well. Ric Flair says that what we have right now is a man that will walk around town tonight claiming to be the real World's Champion. Claiming to be the second time WWF Heavyweight Champion. He will be claiming it all, and most of all, he will be claiming the love of Elizabeth. Ric Flair says that unlike a lot of people in the greatest sport of them all, he doesn't cry over spilled milk. They reassemble a team and say to their opponents that they did it once, now let's see him do it again. Ric says that one time means nothing in his career. Mr. Perfect says that one time means nothing, and like Savage's old lady, he will be damaged goods, because Flair has never taken a short cut in wrestling, but Savage has done so.

Mean Gene is with the brand new WWF Champion, Macho Man, Randy Savage, and Gene says that some might say that is a questionable victory. Savage says that he doesn't care, because it's a piece of what he wanted from Ric Flair, and it's what makes him tick from the inside, out. Savage says that if he has to prove it again that he's worthy, he will do it next time. Gene asks Elizabeth a question, but Savage doesn't let her answer it, and then he goes on to say that Ric Flair can have all of him next time they get in the ring.

Footage from the Press Conference for Wrestlemania VIII is shown, as well as some history footage between Sid Justice and Hulk Hogan. The Native Indians are in the ring, and they are waiting for Tatanka to arrive to the ring. Sean Mooney is with Rick Martel, and Rick says that he has some reservations about the indians, because they have no class or style, and they don't know anything about fashion. Rick says he is going to have to disinfect with arrogance when he gets to the ring, and he says that he heard that there isn't even going to be a match, because he heard that Tatanka is out there scalping tickets!

Rick "The Model" Martel vs. Tatanka

Rick Martel is now on his way to the ring, and he's set for one on one action against Tatanka. Tatanka comes to the ring and he is a real Native American! The two start off the match by locking it up in the ring, and Rick Martel backs Tatanka into the corner and gives him a number of knees to the mid section. The two battle back and forth and Tatanka racks up another win by giving Rick Martel a high cross body.

Winner - Tatanka

Sean Mooney is backstage with the WWF Tag Team Champions, and they have Jimmy Hart in their corner. It's Money Incorporated, and Jimmy says that he knows all of the weaknesses of the Natural Disasters. Ted Dibiase says that you don't write checks that you don't have the buns to cover. I.R.S. says that it's tax time, and it's time for the Disasters to pay up to Money Incorporated. I.R.S. says that they aren't taking them lightly, but they are taking them.

Mean Gene is with the Natural Disasters, and they are the challengers for the Tag Team Championship belts! Gene mentions the name of Jimmy Hart, and Typhoon calls him a cockroach, and he says that he has a real special surprise for him. Typhoon says that Money Incorporated haven't dealt with the Natural Disasters. Earthquake says that they are going to get what is rightfully theirs, and that's the WWF Tag Team Championship!

World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship Match
The Natural Disasters vs. Money Incorporated (c)

Money Incorporated, the WWF Tag Team Champions are now on their way to the ring, and they are set to defend their tag team championship belts against the Natural Disasters. Jimmy Hart is in the corner of Money Incorporated, and history could be made here as the Natural Disasters make their way to the ring. The two teams get in the ring, and the match is on. Earthquake goes for the Earthquake drop on I.R.S., but Jimmy Hart jumps into the ring and pulls I.R.S. out of the ring. Money Incorporated stays on the outside of the ring and gets themselves counted out, so they can't lose the titles. The Natural Disasters will get the win as a result of a count out.

Winner by count out, the Natural Disasters, but still WWF Tag Team Champions, Money Incorporated

"The Rocket" Owen Hart vs. Skinner

Mean Gene is with Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and his career was cut short due to a boating accident. Brutus says he is just here to add his voice to all of the fans to let Hogan know they are behind him all of the way. The Rocket" Owen Hart is on his way to the ring, and he's set for a one on one match against Skinner. This match doesn't last long as Owen Hart rolls Skinner up from behind to get the win.

Winner - "The Rocket" Owen Hart

Mean Gene is in Sid's dressing room, and Harvey Wippleman is there by his side. Sid tells Gene to shut up and Sid says that the match with Hogan will be a barn burner, and it will be Hogan's last match, and he has already made that promise to Hogan. Sid says that when he leaves the dressing room and stands in the ring as Hogan walks down theaisle, Hogan should remember one thing, and that's that Sid is the master, and Hogan is nothing but a learner. Some footage leading into Wrestlemania of Hulk Hogan is shown, and it's of Vince asking Hogan if this is the last time that we will see him in the ring. Hogan says it makes him sweat when he's asked that question, and when he sits here and thinks about his last match at Wrestlemania, it chills him to the bone. Hogan said in that interview that yes, this is his last match. Hogan said that he was the only one who can make the decision of it being his last match, not Sid. Hogan said that at Wrestlemania, he just won't know if it was his last match until he comes out of the ring. Vince said to Hogan if it was his last match or not, he would like to say to behalf of all of the Hulkamaniacs, thank you for the memories, inspiration and thanks for Hulkamania. Back to the interview with Sid, and Sid says that he doesn't give a damn about the memories of Hulk Hogan, and the only thing that fans will remember is that Sid Justice was the man who ended Hulkamania, because he rules the world.

Sid Justice vs. Hulk Hogan

This is the second half of the double Main Event for Wrestlemania, and this next match is scheduled for one fall. Harvey Wippleman is in the ring, and Harvey says this is the main event at Wrestlemania, and he is the announcer. Harvey introduces Sid to the ring, and the fans are on their feet when Hogan makes his way to the ring! Sid gets out of the ring when Hogan gets to the ring, and when he gets in the ring the match is on. The two fight in and out of the ring, and while Harvey distracts the referee, Sid uses illegal objects against Hogan. Sid gives Hulk Hogan the power bomb and he pins him for a two count and Hogan kicks out and starts to Hulk up. Sid hammers away on Hogan, but it doesn't hurt Hogan one bit, and Hogan fires back at Sid with some right hands and then a big boot. The big boot didn't take Sid down, so Hogan gave Sid a body slam. Hulk Hogan gave Sid a leg drop for a two count, because somehow Sid kicked out of it! Harvey gets in the ring, and the referee calls for the bell. Hogan tosses Harvey right into the arms of Sid Justice, and Papa Shango makes his way to the ring. Papa Shango attacks Hulk Hogan, and it's two against one with the two beating up on Hogan. Not too long after that, the music of the Ultimate Warrior comes on, and he comes to the ring to make the save for Hulk Hogan! The Ultimate Warrior takes Papa Shango out of the ring and then he gets hit by a steel chair from Sid. Sid goes to hit the Warrior again, but Hogan takes the chair from Sid, and the fans are just going nuts in favor of Hogan and the Warrior!
