HBO Looking to do Expose on Deaths in Wrestling
By: Liz Sanders on May 30, 2003
I just heard from a friend of mine in a position to know that HBO's "Real Sports" is working on a story about the death rate in professional wrestling. It's in the early stages right now, but I think it's a story that could have some implications on WWE's business when it airs. Obviously, given the circumstances that some have died from in recent years, it's not exactly a story that the business would want to see on an outlet like HBO, but if it opens up some eyes, it's probably the best thing that could happen for a lot of people.
