Jazz

Profile:
Hailing from the home of Jazz music - New Orleans - Charlene Moore (5'4", 145 lbs.) was originally introduced to the ECW audience in 1999 as Jazzmine, but it was quickly shortened to Jazz. She excelled in her role to provide ringside assistance for the duo of Justin Credible and Jason, and thrived on the hardcore violence of devastating their opponents when interfering in matches.

Tired of being taken for granted (like refusing to let her name be announced) she finally decided to branch out on her own. After attempting to stop her teammates while they were beating on Jerry Lynn she issued a challenge to Jason. At Heatwave '99 she not only took him on, but defeated him soundly! Jazz then went on to quickly establish herself as the toughest woman in ECW by eagerly taking on both men or women until the demise of the ECW.

Shortly afterwards Jazz tried out for the WWF by working several "dark matches" with Ivory. Although the WWF seemed impressed they still weren't sure what to do with her (they had just added other women - Torrie/Stacy/Molly) so they agreed to a verbal contract and sent her to the OVW for more training.

Two months later a Six Pack Challenge Match for the vacated (Chyna) Women's Championship Belt was announced for the Survivor Series PPV in Nov. 2001. This match would pit 3 Alliance (ECW/WCW) wrestlers (Ivory/Molly/Mystery Person) against 3 WWF wrestlers (Lita/Trish/Jacqueline) with the person getting a pinfall declared the new champion. Numerous rumors were posted on the Internet that the "mystery person" was Jazz.

The additional training seemed to pay off as she made her WWF debut in a title match! Eventually the match ended up with Jazz, Trish and Ivory left in the ring. Jazz charged Trish who ducked while pulling the ropes down, causing Jazz to fall to the arena floor. Trish bulldogged Ivory and got the win, but Jazz has pretty much made her life miserable since then.

Jazz has made it clear that she wants the title belt by attacking and blindsiding Trish several times, and demolishing several of the other women along the way. Look for this muscular black lady to insure that she is "a force to be reckoned with" during her budding career.
